I try not to have interaction with them. I've removed cable boxes from the house and have gone to streaming services in every room except our family room. I would tell a friend to try to avoid them because service is mediocre, responsiveness is mediocre and the price is high. The only reason I have them is because there is not a good internet option for DirecTV. When I pull internet away from cable and price it out separately, if I go with DirecTV, I end up paying a lot more.

We don't take Comcast here because it comes in lousy. We used it in Massachusetts and it was fine. They have a lousy customer service reputation. In a different state their service was fair. The thing is, if you lose your electricity you don't get anything. You can lose up to three weeks and they don't give you any kind of a discount.

I’m stuck with them. If there was another option other than satellite, I guess I would do it. Part of our maintenance in our community includes basic cable. Even if there was another one out there, it probably wouldn’t make sense to me. The price is ridiculously high. You get a different story every time you call them. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to get somebody who knows what they’re doing.

Comcast has verified they charged me wrongly on 2 occasions. They promised me a refund for all incorrect charges. After a year and a half and many phone calls I still have not been reimbursed. If Comcast wants to contact me and resolve this issue, I would be more than happy to edit my review and make it more positive.

It took about 6 attempts, but the problem was finally resolved.  Previous attempts included poor signal strength (bought a booster), cabling was loose (changed the connectors), poor wiring, problematic modem (bought a new one), problematic router (bought a new one).... all of these were false diagnoses, as the problem continued to be sporadic.
Finally, after speaking with countless technicians, one technician found THE error.  My account was set up wrong somehow, whereby whatever code that was used by Comcast to designate High Definition eligibility was being reset.  This technician said he was "hard coding" it so that that code would not revert.  Since this was done, I have not had any issues with internet or high definition issues.
Given I have little choice to go with Comcast (AT&T U-Verse isn't available and I'm not a fan of satellite dishes sticking off the side of my house), I will continue to use Comcast, but really, the lack of competition is evident in their lack of solid customer service.

This was a land-line phone service for a cardiac monitor. They guy that was supposed to be here between ten and twelve did not show up. He showed up at 4:49PM. In the meantime, I called them. They did not tell me he was going to be late. I went around and around with them trying to get this installed. The guy finally comes. He is taking a very long time, and I am unsure why. I find out he is doing all sorts of things to get a digital system in for the phone line. That is not what I need. It would probably damage the cardiac monitor. I then find out from the tech that they only do digital. The entire day was wasted for a service I did not need.

Set at 78degrees, thermostat reads 78 degrees and a/c technican thermostat reads 71 degrees causing a/c to run constantly, moisture on a/c and mold developed.

I like that Comcast can bundle everything and I think that the price is great, I love their on demand channel and they have more channels than others.The guy who came to fix everything up was on time and he did everything fast.

Pricing and quality overall were pretty good. However, I have a dismay with them because everytime the TV and internet goes down and you will call them, they really can't help you and I get poor answers from them.

I don't have any problems, now, I was apprehensive when they switched over to digital, but, I'm extremely happy now.  Unfortunately, it's hit or miss with their customer service, but, they're the only game in town, and my association has them.  It''s a part of my association dues.  I have old TV's, but when they switched to digital, I had problems, but, it's working now.  Only if I complain a lot, I get some satisfaction.  They give you a 2 hour window, and they're here within 2 hours.  It takes 4 hours to get them out.

It went very horrible. They have unbelievably poor communications. No one communicates with each other. Nobody properly notes your account at the call center. They don't come when they say they will. They come without calling. The only thing I can say is the operators are the only people that are pleasant.
