home warranty companies
+ -1 moreIt did not "go." I've had a home warranty from these people for 20 years (when it was HomeSure Protection of California, before Cinch took it over) and had satisfactory results. Now, with this claim, I paid my $125 "deductible" in advance to have zero service performed and have my valid warranty claim rejected. They do not contact you, you have to call them repeatedly. It's been 8 weeks since the claim was filed: No service, no refund, no payment, no replacement of product; clearly a contract breach but I won't take them to court with a civil complaint because it just isn't worth it. Instead, I'm not renewing my contract with them (after 20 years!) and strongly recommend anyone considering a "home warranty" not use this company,.
