TLDR: Trifecta of competence, acumen, and integrity...Never, Ever lose this phone number! If you need to know why... I've written exactly 0 reviews for Angie’s List, it's just not something I do...If I could give 10 stars I would. No one wants a plumbing problem on Friday afternoon when you're spouse is gambling in Vegas, but alas...THANK GOD for Patrick at Cape Plumbing of Tampa! He was at my house within an hour. He had to use TWO specialized tools (I don't know what they were but they were BOTH on the truck) to find and remove a huge chunk of wood that ended up stuck in my pipe. He knew exactly where to dig in the yard to find the problem, showed me exactly how the wood got in the pipe, found and fixed several vulnerabilities as they reared themselves, and sealed it all up so it never happens again. He even tried to spare the grass he had to dig up! I'm impressed that the problem was diagnosed and solved so quickly, but deeply grateful for the root-cause competence. This chunk of wood could never fit down a drain, so after it was removed, Patrick kept going to figure out how it got in there. He made sure this will never happen again. Competence requires someone who has acumen, integrity, and compassion for his customers. Just to find the root cause was a relief - but also to leave my house and my yard in perfect condition, AND leave me with peace of mind restored my faith that these companies do still exist. In an era where it doesn't seem possible to find a company with the trifecta of customer satisfaction qualities, I found acumen, integrity, and competence to be the basic principles for Cape Plumbing of Tampa. Highly recommend doesn't quite capture how I felt about this company as I waved goodbye! As a side note, it was clear this pressure treated square of 2 x 4 had been stuck in the pipe for years. Symptoms of this wooden square stuck in a round PVC hole had presented several times over the years. Other plumbers stuck the snake in the pipe and maneuvered in such a way that water flowed around it. Never did they care about anything else. Patrick cared to know why this kept happening. That's why I'll never use anyone else.

Although price was a bit higher than other providers, the installation was excellent! Entire process from quote to final billing was great. The installation team were extremely thorough. Took care to protect our home during the removal of the old water heater and installing the new. In less than 2 hours the job was completed. Will definitely use them again!

Cape plumbing came out to fix my leaking water heater and they did a phenomenal job. Patrick was able to install a new tankless water heater and I couldn’t be more happy. I would definitely recommend to my peers and family and I will definitely be hiring them again if I ever have more plumbing issues

Not meant to condemn company, just an honest review. Had emergency work that needed to be done. It went well and work was completed. We were told in the area we needed to replace lines with flexible lines. Since I'm not a plumber, figured it was legit. Everything completed quickly. Found out later house needed all the piping replaced by another contractor who when he came to the work Cape Plumbing did, he couldn't understand why they used flexible lines. The guy that came was professional and nice and completed the work quickly. Would give an "A", but the question of flexible line replacement has me wondering.

Fabulous. Cape Plumbing was punctual, they provided me with several options to consider, a very reasonable estimate for the job performed, and they left the work area spotless. The work was excellent! They tend to add that one extra step to make sure that the finished work looks professional.

The company called me to let me know their tech Mark was on his way. Mark came and assessed the issue. He explained to me what needed to be done and gave me a price. After I accepted, he went straight to work. He installed air vent stack under the cabinet and changed the original PVC pipe to a larger one. He then snaked it out. He was very courteous and friendly. Everything went well.

Dusty arrived on time and was receptive to our problems. He went above and beyond as we added a couple of issues we did not initially discuss in the original call. In fact, one item required him to go back out for parts to ensure out problems were solved in one visit.

AWESOME! Called Mon morning expecting to have to wait a couple of days. They fit us in with an evening service call. Arsenio showed up within the timeframe, was polite and professional, but most important, he fixed the problem quickly and completely. I rarely write reviews but I always look at them when hiring someone new. I would hire this company again!

Arsenio arrived early, was friendly and professional, performed the work promptly, and did a great job. The clog is cleared.

Took less than 30 minutes to repair cut in outside copper pipe. Litterally had to splice in a 12" fix. $325 seems excessive especally since you gave me great service and prices for Water Heater, sink shut offs, replacing 2 toilets just a few years ago. Really upset at the price...... When I said it should be a $100 or $150 repair, tech said he'd honor a discount of $25...... You guys were great back when we bought home. What happened?????

Arsenio, who got here within an hour of my calling Cape Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon, quickly realized it was shoddy construction on my 2nd floor slider that caused the leak; he cut into garage ceiling to verify, this. (That's what the $150 was for.) He then called his boss who will have a restoration company call me AND help me deal with my home insurer. Wow, I could not be more impressed!!! I'd highly recommend.

Kris provided an estimate to repair the issue before the repair was started and it appeared to be very reasonable given the scope of work. I approved the work to repair a slow leak in the next day. He showed up when he told me on the minute. He was courteous and professional the whole time. He completed the repair even through rocks and roots and worked 5+ hours without much of a break in the heat. He thoroughly tested the repair allowing time to dry and pressure testing. He then repaired the area in the landscape with minimal disturbance the the area. Great job.

Spoke to owner Mark Cape who was able to schedule next day service call. One of his service techs arrived, assessed the situation and repaired the problem within 30 minutes. Price and service were great. Price included current 10% discount for Angie's List members. This was my second experience with this company and both were excellent overall.
