The work required no more than about 20 minutes of time. Mr. Gearhiser, who was reputed to be a highly experienced computer engineer, seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He explained the whole process, making me feel very comfortable with the work he did. After popping open up the memory compartment of the laptop, he proceeded to carefully insert the two brand new memory SIMMS, one at a time. They snapped right in. He closed up the case, made some changes to the BIOS settings, then ran a diagnostic test that showed that my computer was indeed running much faster. I was delighted at the snappy performance of my computer, as I was with Mr. Gearhiser's professionalism. I'll be glad to use him in the future for all of my computer repair needs.
