ANTOL RESTORATION

hired Antol Construction in May 2015 to complete a mold remediation and a kitchen and bathrooms remodel. They did not complete the job. I hired Antol Construction May 2015 to complete a mold remediation and remodel of my kitchen. We signed the contract for $26,953.95. I gave Don Antol 1/3 for deposit. He received a check for $2500.00 for a deposit, another $2500.00 a few weeks later and then a check for $6484.65 Unfortunately, I spend four months during the summer in NC. I was in weekly contact via phone, text and emails with Don and his project manger David Lawrence for updates and scheduling. In August 2015, the design of all cabinets, granite and tile was selected. I decided to redo my two bathrooms. I signed another contract with Antol Construction to remodel my two bathrooms. The contact was for $18,000.00 . I sent them a check for $8,000.00 on September 1,2015. The contract stated bathrooms will be completed in 90 days. Don Antol and I initial additional requirement on contract.They started demolishing Sept 4,2015. They put the entire demolition debris behind my fence for five weeks. I have pictures to prove it. That was the start of the main issue. Don and David lied continually about removal of debris and start of installation of tile and floor. I arrived home October 24,2015 to house that had 60%of tile installed not grouted or sealed. Ceiling and drywall exposed. No kitchen or bathroom completed. I met Don Antol at my home on October 29,2015. He had guys there doing drywall. He reassure me that by the next week I would have floor completed and cabinets in kitchen installed. The room that I had the mold in wasn't even close to being finished. The ceiling and wall was exposed all summer in that room.The next week came and gone and there was nothing. I was constantly texting and calling him to find out what was going on. He did not return my texts or calls. I finally told him I needed him to please bring the tile and cabinets to my house and I would hire someone else to finish the job. I received a phone call from Don on November 6,2015 that I had a flood in my master bedroom. One of his workers were using the only water source in my master bathroom and did not shut off the valve. It leaked all night and ruined two year old wood floors. Don would not take any responsibility on the incident. On November 9,2015 he wrote me in a text that he had the cabinets and he wanted to finish the job. He could not give me a date for delivery of cabinets or tile. I gave him several opportunities to get the job done. His lack of respect for me and my family is disgusting. On November 25,2015 I had my locks changed and terminated Antol Construction. His own designer told me throughout the summer that he most likely spent my money and could not finish my job. I finally received the itemized bill of his services after several requests. He has a over $19,000.00 of my money. He wants me to pay for cabinets that I don't have in my possession. I wrote him yesterday December 9,2015 to please deliver my cabinets and we can work out the rest. He wrote me and said he was willing to give me $4,000.00 back. However, I found out today that the room that had the mold, has a wall completely full of mold that he did not take care of. Because of his neglect the floor that is newly installed has to be removed due to moisture. I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm a single woman and I do believe he totally took advantage of me. His designer said to me early on that I was too nice. He has cause me stress and aggravation. I have all photos, texts, emails, to prove my claim.
