I have been using the company for about 7-8 years. The staff is very professional and Gary does great work. I like that they are local and convenient. I never have to wait long to get my car in and they usually get the car back to you when they say they will.

This was a 100,000 mile major service on a 2002 SUV ... All the belts and hoses were replaced ... radiator was flushed --
All Fluids replaced ... including brake fluid ... new water pump / new alternator ...
I've been going to Gary's Automotive for about 10 years ... The service is always professional ... they are very honest and trustworthy. They do not do work that does not need to be done and their prices are competitive.
Because they are so good ... they are also very busy ... an appointment is highly recommended (probably necessary) ...

Had to wait about an hour from appt time but well worth it. Not only was oil changed but they checked my brakes and undercarriage wihout charging.

I remember that the price was fair. He had several options and he took the cheapest one. The guy spent a lot of time explaining things. Gary and his other mechanics are really good and they take care of the problem.

I took my car in to Gary's Automotive because it was time for an oil change, my two front tires had slow leaks and I wanted the cabin filter checked.I waited for the work to be done. It was a couple of hours because they had to determine where the leak was in both tires.
The leaks were fixed, the oil was changed and the dirty cabin filter was replaced. I would never take my car to any other auto repair shop. I have had nothing but great service by a real professional at a reasonable price at Gary's.

Gary, Robert, and staff are incredible. They truly know everything there is to know about cars. They are patient and extremely accommodating. It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Gary and Robert are mechanics I trust completely. My car has never run better and they often catch shoddy work from past mechanics. Gary takes the time to explain everything and will give you an estimate before they do the work. They go above and beyond what I expect from mechanics. Not too long ago, my timing belt broke. It broke while I was on break from work. I needed to get back to work immediately but did not have any transportation. Robert stopped what he was doing to take me to work. They really care about their customers and appreciate loyalty. They explain the mechanics of the problem as well as how they arrived at the cost of repairs. In my non professional opinion, Gary's Automotive has trustworthy, capable mechanics. A rarity among auto shops in my experience.

Went in to replace the brakes on our car. Mechanic found another problem with the front suspension. Although they provided an estimate for $1600, we did not anticipate having a large repair bill when it was supposed to be an ordinary brake job. Our mistake was in going ahead with the repair without getting other estimates. After a friend who repairs cars looked over our bill, we found out that the labor cost was generally in line with other shops, but the price we got charged for parts was 2-3X higher than the usual cost charged by shops. I went in and confronted Gary. He tried to justify the price he had charged us, stating that he has to pay retaill price to have parts delivered to his store and that is why the high mark up (a lie according to our friend). We will avoid this shop at all costs as he overcharges for his work and is dishonest in justifying his charges. My husband thought he seemed like such a personable guy, but we found out that he will try to make as much money as he can off of you. After all this, our brakes now squeak when they did not before the repair.

They did exactly what I asked them to do, and did not tell me about extra work, which is what I really liked. They seemed very responsive and professional though.

It was fine, it took a little longer than expected but overall okay. Sent reminder card afterwards. Never went back because always too crowded and found a great mechanic elsewhere with great service and honest pricing.

It took a long time, which was understandable since the OEM parts were not readily available. The car was put back together cleanly and he retained the removed parts for my inspection. He made sure that I understood what parts were replaced and why. I wasn't enthused about the price, but I was aware of the cost and was not charged more than my estimate. A car without AC in Florida is torture!

It went very well. I told Gary the problem and he fixed it. This is not the first time I've taken my car to him with problems (other than oil changes etc). He finds the problem and fixes it at a reasonable rate. I've been going to this guy ever since he opened his shop in Beverly Hills, Florida, in 2006.
