It has been three months that I provided a substantial initial deposit for a pool construction. Three months later nothing has been done, not even permit solicitation. The company's response is that they lost their project manager and all work has been backed up. I have requested cancellation of contract and a refund of my deposit, but no response.

The quality of the work left a lot to be desired. The project schedule greatly exceeded the estimate.

Poor communication. They added an ADA master suite off of our livingroom. It took over a year to complete because of poor coordination efforts and lack of communication. There would be weeks at a time in between workers. We would have to call/text and ask what is next who is coming and when. Many times we did not get a response. Very rarely were they pro active in telling us what to expect. Had 4 different GCs from Poumds and Mike was hands off until we requested a meeting. The plumber he subbed flooded our existing master and it took them months to repair. Pounds did not help resolve that issue either. We were told they could tie into existing plumbing during the initial planning session for the addition and then at the end of the project no can do need to install a lift pump in the yard and run pipe all the way around the house. If we had known that to begin with we would have changed the floor plan. Alan Curry Plumbing installed the pump and his guy apparently didnt know how it worked. Couldn't get the toilet to flush poperly. Had to have them out twice witin 3 months of install to find out the pump plug was not connected properly and the motor burnt out. They replaced it and we are thankfully done with these people.

Mike Pounds is excellent to work with. They did an excellent job for me and would have him anything else i need done.

I had a very good experience with Pounds Construction. Mike is excellent to work with. They added a 16x35 addition. Adding a new roof. All new windows in my home. My only problem was the availability of getting the materials. It took months to get a lot of the materials. No fault of his. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great people to work with. Very professional and responsive. Project completed on time and on budget. Would recommend them highly.

Subcontractors were all good. Project management and communication were terrible. The job should have taken 2-3 weeks but took over 2 months.

This company spent very little time overseeing the workers and didn't didn't stay in touch with us for weeks at a time to let us know when work would continue. A project that we were told would take no longer than 4 weeks lasted over 2 and 1/2 months.

They did two projects for me. Both jobs were well done at a fair price. Contractor & employees were easy to work with.

kept my house very clean during and after work was done.

I would recommend them!
