When we agreed to $275 for the work be done, Kathy said they would come the following morning. They arrived at 10:15 am. Late to get started on yard work in the summer in Florida. Kathy came with two men, neither of whom was Eddie. The guy in charge of trimming the trees, Pat, told me they did not bring a ladder to trim the ornamental trees and they would just get the lower branches and come back another time and do the top for Free.Which struck me as odd because he couldn't give me something for free when I was paying for it. I stated that trimming the whole tree was what was included in the quote and they could get a ladder and come back. Then he told me no, that it would be extra to trim the trees. It was beginning to be stressful for me. My husband lent them our tree trimming extension pole. They were not trimmed at all like I instructed them. I wanted the holly trees to be cone shaped.Pat trimmed all the lower branches completely back to the trunk, lopped off the top of the trees and left the sides without trimming them at all. Our weeping yapon was hacked up so badly that when my son and I came home and walked up the front walk way we stopped in our tracks. I didn't say a thing and my son just got out his phone and took a picture of the yapon.  Before Pat relented and trimmed the trees they had me come out to approve their work so they could as Pat said," Get my money and get out of here"..I told them when the trees and palm trees were trimmed I would pay them.  This went on several times. Pat was very agitated didn't want to do the work, just wanted to get paid and go. I believe he did a terrible job because he was angry. He also did not want to do the palm trees at all. I was quoted on having the trunks done and he just did not want to do it. He argued and got very hot under the collar. Finally he used a chain saw and I guess you could say he trimmed the palm tree trunks. Not the job I expected. They did do a fairly good job on weeding.
It was a horrible experience. 
I can't understand why someone that runs a business would quote on work they did not want to do.
