HOMETOWN CLEANING SERVICES

Apparently the owner determined to closed the business and supposedly sent an e mail to clients informing them of that decision.  I did not receive a mail and have repeatedly try to contact the owner (the main number no longer works).  I have left numerous messages on her voice mail as she did not return the key to my home.  I have now had to change the locks at my home.  Service was good while they were open, but not the way to close a business and operate.

Tried several times to get in touch. Never returned our call... Wondering if they are still in business.

I never got to use the cleaning service.I called them twice and left my name and phone number and they never returned my calls.Pretty unprofessional.

Three team members came and stayed three hours. They cleaned each designated room thoroughly. There was no goofing off; each team member was polite and pleasant.

It went great for the first time cleaning. They did not need a lot of direction as what to do. I have used at least 3 others and this company was the best overall. They were on time and neatly dressed. Also one thing other companies did was they were not on time and I had to call several times to get service. Hometown answered my first call . I hope to use them often.

I found the company to be responsive and professional. I was given an estimate by phone based on square footage of my home and what cleaning I wanted performed. A crew of two women arrived when scheduled and did an excellent job of cleaning my home. I am looking forward to continuing to work with this company.

Overall it went fine. There were a couple pieces of furniture that looked like they missed but it may have been a miscommunication within the team (I.e. one thinking someone else did it)
Overall we were happy and hope with the next clean they now are fa,I,air with the house and will get all furniture.

I was very impressed with the owner of this company when she came out to my home to bid on the job. She was very thorough and professional. On the spot I hired the company to do bi-weekly cleaning. The initial crew did an excellent job, as did the crew sent for the second cleaning. There were several different crews but the last few months I saw the same crew. The quality of the cleanings deteriorated after the first few visits, as well as the amount of time the cleaners spent in my home. On occasion, I started noticing toothpaste remaining in the sink and on the mirrors, dirt stains on the laminate floor, vaccuming that was done around throw rugs (dirt under the rugs), dusting that was hit or miss, kitchen sink not cleaned or counter top not wiped clean, residue from a cleaning product left on the glass stove top, mildew around the shower door, bath tub ring, etc. After each clean, I would just go behind and clean again because it was not every one of these things on every cleaning visit. If I had to leave before the cleaning was complete and asked them to lock up, I noticed the quality of the clean was less than acceptable. I began to remove all throw rugs, chairs and barstools from the floor before their arrival each time to facilitate a better job. My house was put on the market and I wanted it acceptable for showing without my having to go behind them and clean the house again. They use Glass Plus and vinegar mixed with water for everything. I began to supply my own cleaning products very soon after hiring them, thinking that was the problem.
The last time Hometown Cleaning Service was in my home, I pointed out the floor being dirty and showed them by taking a wet paper towel and wiping the floor. I was told that and quot;next timeand quot; they would try using a different product or steaming the floor with my steamer. I also showed them a sticky residue left on the kitchen counter and island from a cleaning product. The cleaner stood there and scraped it off with her fingernail. I told them that I was showing this house and the floor was just not clean. I heard them remark as they walked out the door, and quot;there is build-up on that floor and there is nothing you can do about thatand quot;.
After the cleaners left, I called the owner of Hometown Cleaning Service and she was very apologetic and stated she would be coming out with them the next time they clean so she could see how they are cleaning the floor. I told her about the toothpaste, the sinks, the counter tops, the lack of removing throw rugs to vaccum the floors, the ring around the bath tub, etc. I told her I did not like to complain but I was just not going to pay for a service that I had to repeat myself after they leave. She agreed and said the cleaners should have never left until the job was and quot;made rightand quot;.
On the date of my next service, I received a phone call from the cleaners stating they were running very late and the owner wouldn't be able to come because she had an emergency come up. I had a previously planned appointment with my doctor for later that afternoon and the cleaners would not have been finished in time. I told them I completely understood that things came up and would they please have the owner call me with a follow-up visit since she was supposed to be coming to evaluate the cleaning. A week passed and I had not heard from anyone at Hometown Cleaning Service. That made it three weeks since my house had been cleaned by a company I hired to do bi-weekly cleaning. I left a message on the owner's voice mail. I called the number (from my caller ID) used by the cleaner to cancel the last visit and the employee answered and said the owner would be calling and that they were out on a job. It has now been four weeks since my house has been cleaned and I have not been contacted by the owner or anyone else.
I don't think I am going to hear from anyone because I complained about the quality of the cleaning and the fact that I paid for the cleaning but had to go behind them and make the house acceptable for showing by the realtor.

The owner was willing to come from Belleview to Ocala to both bid on and perform this job. The company was on time for both appearances. The cleaning crew was fully qualified and skilled to perform all the tasks at hand. The job included:
Cleaning all baseboards, jambs, doors. Cleaning and disinfecting the kitchen including inside and outside of drawers, cabinets, and closet. Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, including inside and outside of drawers, and cabinets. Vacuuming and wiping down cabinets and shelving in utility room. Cleaning all ceiling fans, and light fixtures. Vacuuming and mopping floors thoroughly.
WIndow cleaning - 26 windows inside and out, including screens and tracks.

They are great, they do a good job and are always on time.

Everything went exceptionally well. I was pleased with the cleaning job done in my home.The workers were very polite and professional.
