The only minor issue was that the backfill work around the pool was not included for 2 reasons. First they did not want to backfill until at least a week after pool is filled to make sure there are no leaks visible. Second, due to the location I chose, the skidsteer could not move around the outside of the pool with risking pressing in on the pool sides. So I ended up renting a small "dingo" ride-on loader and did the backfill myself. Not a big deal just an extra $200 for the rental. I knew this before I signed the deal.
I have since been using Above and Beyond to do my pool checks/serving. He allows me to increase checks during the warm months and reduce the number of checks during the cold months. He kept the water looking good all winter. We are now coming up on a year since install and everything is looking good. Costs seem good and I don't mess with little bottles of dye.
Final story; 2 weeks after the pool was installed and in use, our black lab went for a swim unknown to me at first. Later that evening I noticed the water had dropped about 6" quickly. Turns out the dog's toe nail tore a hole in the liner as it struggled to find a way out. I FREAKED that I would have to replace a brand new liner. Called James. He said to pump out the water to below the hole, and he came out early next morning. He applied a double patch system to keep from replacing the liner. It has worked perfectly. It saved me a lot of money and allowed the dog to keep its happy home. (there is now a new fence around the pool).
