After interviewing many roofers for our metal roof install new metal roof in spring 2023, we decided on Bill with Roofing Services Specialists. He was professional , courteous and extremely knowledgeable with regard to all types of roof installs and was able to meet all our specific requests. His quote was fair and actually very competitive. Most important is that job was done quickly and passed inspection without any major issues. I would highly recommend this company and would gladly be a reference for his work.

Contracted with them for a new steel roof on our home in 11/2017. We were told the project would be completed within a week. Initial contact with Bryan was great. Rapidly downhill from there. Existing roofing removed and loaded into dumpster. After removal of shingles, the roof/ridge cap was covered with some type of barrier paper.The covering did not work as water leaked through into the house causing damage to drywall on ceilings. 1st crew was out and started installing the steel, which owner agreed was a very poor job. Didn't install bird/bug guards, missed multiple screw installation positions. Steel installed so poorly that even a novice could see it. Steel was ordered too short. When the crew installed it, it did not come out to drip edge. It bent in a couple pieces and corner pieces were misaligned and bent when installed as well. Owner assured us it would be taken care of. A new fabric ridge cap was installed.This new temporary ridge cap lasted 2 days, and any wind blowing caused loud flapping noises for weeks. Forced to sleep on a couch on the first floor. So now, poorly installed steel and temporary ridge cap blowing noisily in the wind. It snows. Now we have snow getting into the attic where it melts, causing additional damage to the house. The upstairs ceiling is damaged by staining/drywall tape /plaster coming off from the melting snow. Snow covered steel is left laying in the yard. Falls due to the snow-covered steel ( this really made me the angriest. No excuse leaving a work site in the condition it was left). Our siding installers had to leave for another job due to lack of progress on roof. Finally, 7 weeks into this project (nothing done for 5 weeks), a 2nd crew shows up. NO notice on what day they would show up, still we were glad. This crew cleans up snow covered steel and expresses to me what a poor job the 1st crew had done. They fixed the work 1st crew had done, got steel on east roof, fixed valley dormer installation, etc. .At this point 7 weeks into project there is still no ridge cap, and no replacement steel. Ugly, over sized ridge cap had to be ordered as original steel was too short. For 5 weeks led to believe it had been ordered. 8 weeks from the project start 1st crew shows back up and replacement panels/ridge cap have finally been delivered. Finally 2nd crew finished job. Not the look or quality we wanted. Can I leave a negative star? UPDATE 5/12/2018 - 6 months later (5/12/2018), the orange dumpster still sits in my drive way. The dumpster acquisition and removal were part of the original contract that WE paid (per dumpster co.). We assume Roofing Service Specialists LLC didn't pay for it, so here it sits. Now what?

I am very pleased with the work that was done. They were very prompt and efficient. The work was completed within a week of my initial call and was a great price. They took great care to not harm the plants that I have around my house, and I will certainly hire again.

Overall, I am very pleased with the work that was done. The project took longer than estimated with a slightly higher cost due to repairs that were not evident until after the tear-off was completed. The crew protected the roof with tarps after each work day and kept the area very clean. Both Bill and Bryan responded quickly to calls and kept me advised as to the progress of the project.

Bill is friendly and seems to know his job. He arrived on time and worked until the repairs were finished.
