HARRIS FENCE INSTALLATION

I contacted Harris Fence to obtain a quote for having a fence put up at a home my mom just bought. She is still out of state and wanted to have this done before she gets here. I spoke to Rebecca at Harris and explained the situation. (I took care of the entire home purchase for my mom so there is no issue with my having the fence work done). Rebecca scheduled an appt with me for Wednesday, June 13th at 1:00 pm to meet at the house to do the estimate. I gave her both my home and cell phone numbers, since I don't live at the house, to contact me in case she was running late, etc. I arrived at the house at 5 minutes to 1:00 pm on Wednesday and waited until 1:30 pm before calling Harris to inquire about the no-show. Rebecca answered the phone. I asked her what was going on, that we had a 1:00 appt and that now half hour later no one was there. Her response? "Yes ma'am. I got stuck at the office." ??!!! That's it? I asked "why didn't anyone call me to tell me? I left work to drive out here and you had both of my phone numbers?" Her response? "Yes ma'am. I can maybe have someone meet you there in a couple of hours." ??!!! Are you kidding me?! I told her I WAS ALREADY THERE to meet someone half hour ago, I don't have time to wait another "couple of hours"! Again, same thing, "Yes ma'am." was all she had to say. I should bill this company for my time, gas, and expense away from work for this poor poor service. I don't know how they stay in business operating this way. I have 20 acres of land that I'll need various fence work done on and I will sure not consider Harris for any of it! RUN, DON'T WALK, FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF SERVICE.
