I had contacted A1 Mold Remediation and the owner, Rami Argov, sometime in August, 2022 and I had gotten their information from HomeAdvisor/ Angi .com ( they merged and are now one company). It said on the HomeAdvisor website that he could do chemical testing. I explained to him from the beginning what my problem was. I have a house in South Broward County Florida and there are some businesses in the area that manufacture things and chemicals and the problem is that these businesses release very toxic chemicals that get into my house and that lately the chemicals were so powerful that many days I would get very sick, with trouble breathing, dizziness, headaches sometimes and sometimes tremendous pain. I work from home a lot and when I leave the house, the symptoms would go away. He told me that he could do air quality testing, both inside and outside of the house and send the results to a lab, where they could test for many different chemicals. I also explained to him from the beginning that I did NOT have a mold problem. I know what mold smells like, because I lived in an apartment a number of years ago that had this problem and I had it corrected. On or about 8-17-2022 the test was done, his employee did two indoor tests and one outdoor test and on 8-22-2022 he contacted me with the results. He called me and told me something like good news, we are in good shape, the results show that you have no mold and no chemicals detected. And the test results that he sent me were mostly for mold testing, stating that there was no mold in the air. I was absolutely flabbergasted, I told him from the beginning that the problem was a chemical, NOT mold, and he was supposed to test for chemicals, NOT mold testing. And after giving me the test results he gave me some excuse like that most of the time when you do testing, the problem almost always turns out to be a mold problem. The chemical is still coming into the house and it is so toxic that many times it is almost impossible to stay in the house. He was dishonest with me and did some type of test that I never asked for. He wasted my time and mislead me. I paid him $ 500 to do air quality testing. I would not use this company or this individual, because he is dishonest.

Paid $4800 for mold removal/remediation and help for insurance claim. 9/1/2022 no help for insurance claim. there is suppose to be ONE year guarantee. molds came back, notified him, no resolution, kissed my $4800 goodbye. do not do business.

My homeowners insurance was canceled because Rami has refused to give me a receipt for the job done for months now. And because I do not have receipt no other Home owners ins company is willing to insure my home- I asked for a receipt since the job was done over 20+ times and either I do not get an answer or some bulls**t answer about " oh let me help you answer them." But no receipt. Now my mortgage lender has imposed a ins company at twice of the company that canceled me! Why can't he just give a receipt - what is he hiding and now I wonder if the job was even correctly done because the run around is for a reason!!!!

Rami and his team were absolutely the best!!! They came as soon as I needed them, they were extremely professional, they gave me a mold free home and I am extremely happy!

John Robinson was very efficient, thoroughly checked the whole unit for any visible and suspicious signs for mold. He even delivered a little lecture on mold while his device was working. Beware of the free consultation. I am allergic to molds and have no symptoms, my husband has no mold allergy and all the breathing issues. The claim is that he has 30 years of experience... yet, with no sighting of mold, they convinced us to test for molds and not other contaminants in the air as we suggested. We were taken for $600.

Job not performed as agreed upon or as requested. Beware. Will take on another jobs without having completed your job. The mold testing company that he owns, UC Mold Inspections did not give me a complete report and left out the lab results. They overcharged me and I had to pay $600. UC Mold Inspections company still has not provided me with a complete report.

Homeadvisor.com brought us together. Rami is the owner of A1 Mold Remediation. After meeting with him I no longer felt "alone". In fact, I cancelled the 2 other appointments I made. There was no need to interview others. I liked Rami & the confidence he exuded. Most of all, he struck me as a man of integrity who wouldn't take advantage of a woman ...especially an anxious woman who lived through many, many seasons. Rami laid out what to expect from him. When I didn't understand something or needed something to be repeated he did so with patience & a smile. Never did I feel his eyes were rolling to the back of his head from exasperation. After talking for maybe an hour or more there was no question that Rami was my man. Rami did a great job as he promised he would. He proved his 30 years of experience. He was there for me every step of the way as he also said he would be. The day I answered the phone & heard Rami's energetic & happy voice was the day I was meeting a good, honest man.

Extremely professional. What was promisedâ was delivered at a very competitive price. Rami took his time to explain the scope of work and how many days it would take. Not only was his guy on the job the very next day, the job was done quickly. No excuses, no delays. He worked non-stop to clean and treat the contaminated area. After machines ran for a few days and the area was dry, all walls were rebuilt and painted, walls/windows/doors (inside and out) were caulked and sealed. Without having to ask, his worker cleaned up the area and re-installed all blinds on the windows. After moving to Florida about two years ago, I learned pretty quickly that I would be chasing (a whole lot more) after contractors/companies to do their job. After dealing with renovations of two baths and kitchen for over a year, I dreaded having to hire someone to deal with a new issue. I wish I had known Rami then. He would have gotten the job done a lot sooner. A1 is my -go to- company from this point forward. Highly recommended. Thank you!!

Rami was excellent to work with. Very knowledgeable and walked you through the entire process. His worker (Tulio) was extremely professional. Removed the mold, fixed the dry in a very precise and clean manner. Would 100% recommend to anyone.
