The SunState Roofing crew provided professional and quality service.  They were punctual, friendly, and careful with my property.  Ted Alesch, the owner, was honest and well versed with quality products that would fit my needs.  Not pushy and did not try sell me additional services.  I would definitely use this service again and plan to use Ted's services to remodel the inside of my home.  I highly recommend this contractor and roofing company.

Ted Alesch Contracting installed and built a covering for a kitchen fan.  This was done as part of a roof replacement but the fan was a last minute add-on.  Alesch Contracting was friendly and responded to my request promptly.  Upon installation of the vent covering, Ted painted the covering and it looks great.  I am very happy with all services I've received from Ted Alesch and I will use him again for my remodeling needs.  I highly recommend this company.

Repaired roof leak and flashing

Overall a very good job. He used a different shingle than agreed upon but of equal quality. He charges 3% credit card fee that I was not aware of but when I mentioned it, he did not charge me. Easy to contact and reasonable.

A branch came through our roof on Sunday.  After briefly speaking with Ted, he had one of his guys, Danny out that afternoon.  Danny was spectacular.  He quickly gathered the needed materials and when he put the first cut into the roof to patch it, the sky opened up.  Danny finished the work like a champ, soaked to the bone as he came down off the roof.

Ted (SunState owner) came to my house and we discussed what I was looking for.   He then got up on the roof, put together his information, and provided me with 2 estimates - depending on types of materials I might select.   Ted is easy going and comfortable to talk with.  His company is also a general contractor company - which I liked.   I did my due diligence and received 3 other quotes.   Ted's estimate was in the middle, but I felt most comfortable with his communications and background.  His crew arrived when he said they would, they spent 1 day removing the old roof and prepping it for the new roof, and then another day and a half to install the new roof and 2 new skylights.  They cleaned up each afternoon.   Inspector came on time and everything passed.   Ted came by a couple of days later and gave it his "once over" and was happy with the work.   I was happy with the work.   Everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend using SunState for your roofing needs.

They did a good job on time and put in the extra effort to clean up nails in the back yard for my 3 dogs.  Everything that was promised was delivered.  My only complaint would be the cigarette butts from the crew found in the yard ...would be great if they had one place for the crew to put the buttts in.  Overall I was very pleased and would use again.

Excellent speed, focus, cleanliness, and attention to detail.  We were very pleased with this roofer and would most certainly use them again.  We replaced a much patched old roof that we inherited when we bought the home two years ago, and wanted one that would last.  We chose a GAF warranteed "Weather Stopper Plus" roof with three components that qualify for some reduction in home insurance.  We had good advice on shingles (architectual GAF Timberline HD); and other considerations.  The crew was quick, tidy, and careful.  A very good experience.

Everything went on schedule.  The workers did an excellent job and cleaned up after the job was complete.  The materials supplier truck got oil spills on my stone pavers in the driveway, but the roofing contractor got down on his knees and scrubbed everyone of the multiple pavers by cleaning  them with a brush and cleaning solution.  He got all of the oil and tar stains off.
I would definitely recommend and use this contractor again.  He was most professional and responsive.  He had a pleasant personality also.

Sunstate Roofing did a terrific job replacing my roof and all the wood damage. I'm probably the toughest client to work for, but
 Ted (the owner) handled everything very professionally and fairly. they were very prompt and cleaned up at the end of each day.
They even painted some accents on my roof to match the new shingle color. It shows that Ted and his crew put a lot of pride into their work.

The repairs were completed in a short amount of time.
 
The worker from SunState worked with the solar panel people, SunWorks solar. This was a coordinated project that was complete in 4 hours. It included relocating  the panel and replumbing it to the water heater. Both companies arrived within 15 minutes of each other.
I choose SunStated because they have experience with solar panels.The other roofing repair companies did not!

SunState was excellent in all areas of the job. I was introduced to Ted Alesch by a neighbor who has used the company for general contracting. I originally contacted the company to complete a stucco repair, since I had already hired another firm to replace the flashing around my chimney. After reviewing the project, Ted was not happy with the flashing work and offered to correct it at a reasonable cost. Although very busy, SunState found a way to fit my job into their schedule very quickly. Communication was excellent throughout the project both with Ted and his work team. I would highly recommend the company to others and am planning to discuss other general contracting projects with them for my home.

The work done was excellent.  We had some shingles that were slipping and needed to repair a small section of the roof.  I called and left a message, but it was about a week before the call was returned.  This was during a rainy spell, so I figured they may be backlogged.  Once the contact was made, they were out the next day when they said they would be.  They got on the roof, estimated the repair, and told me they could not match the shingles exactly, but would try.  He was back the next day, made the repairs as discussed.  We were very pleased with the work...and have had a couple of heavy rains since then, and all is well.  I would definitely recommend the company!  I would just say be patient in waiting for an initial call-back.  It is worth it. 

After all the rain we had and a water leak on my living room ceiling it was time for the roof to be replaced. We decided that we wanted it to be done as soon as possible to avoid any further water leaks The owner came out to deliver the quote which he had prepared using satellite technology which showed a picture of my house and roof. I had obtained 3 quotes and they were all within dollars of each other but he provided a discount for advertisement in a local magazine. I thought that a patio roof structure that we had installed a few years ago was the cause of the leak and was concerned that would continue even if we replaced the roof. He was the only one that actually went up on my roof to take a look and made a suggestion of some extra flashing around the chimney as that was an area where he saw that a lot of water accumulated.  I liked the fact that he is a contractor so he would be able to make any necessary repairs should I have any water damage to the structure of the roof and he was able to identify the source of the leak. We set a date that would work for both of us and they showed up when he said they would and finished the job when he said they would. He did not make any crazy promises like a roof in 1 day! He called me that morning to let me know who the supervisor was and was in contact by email and phone from start to finish. I did have a concern at one point about some landscaping that I had just had done a few months ago and he got back to me right away letting me know what they were going to do. Due to the pitch of the roof there were some small bushes along the side of the house that were damaged when they were removing the shingles and he took $100.00 off without my even asking so I thought that was more than fair! The roof looks beautiful and it looks like I have a new house! They cleaned up not leaving any messes behind and when the owner came out to collect the check he took a broom and swept up around where the dumpster had been.

The re-roof went well, no hitches whatsoever.  I would recommend SunState Roofing to family and friends!

Ted Alesch is doing a significant amount of general contracting work for us, and is also helping with exterior repairs, including issues related to the roof.  He is knowledgeable in all aspects and has been very helpful in terms of recommending what to do, or not do, in terms of maintenance.  It is highly convenient to have a renovations contractor who is also a roofing expert, especially since our roof is nearing the end of its serviceable life.
