Service was fine. They picked me up and take me back to my car.

Had a Lincoln LS with a check engine light and a misfire code. Took car into Mayport Car Care on a friend's recommendation. Initially the service and professionalism was top notch. Offered a ride home while they worked on the car and quickly diagnosed the problem. Was told they would replace a plug and a coil and I should bring the care back for a full change of all plugs as part of a tune-up (vehicle had 55,000 miles on it). Opted to get the first plug and coil fixed for $250.00 and was told it would be another $500.00 to finish the job properly. This equals a $750.00 tune-up.
Less than 48 hours later, check engine light is back on and car is misfiring worse than ever. Took the car to Willard's Auto and had all 8 plugs, 1 coil, an oil change, and some switches fixed in 4 hours for $400.00! In between these repairs on my car, my wife's Expedition was also misfiring. Initially took the car to Mayport Car Center for an estimate and diagnosis. He quoted the job at over $900 bucks for all 8 plugs. When I gaffed at the price I got a condescending explanation that I am not familiar with cars, they have been in business for lots of years, and they know best. What i learned was that Willard's quoted the same job with an oil change, serpentine belt replacement, changing fuel filter, and servicing the AC for $650.00.
I will say the customer service was friendly, the manager professional and knowledgeable (albeit somewhat condescending and arrogant), but the prices are ridiculous, and in my case, the work not done in a manner that fixed my issue.

The A/C was not working properly and this auto repair service was quickly able to get it working again. Also they preformed other small engine repairs which were prconduct correctly.

McCall's is very professional and prompt. They did what they said they would do- solve the termite problem- and they beat everybody else's price, too. They were careful with the chemicals, explaining in detail what they would do. It was excellent service.
