Kettle Inc.

They don't stand by their work. I wrote a longer review but scrapped it to get to the essential problem. After doing more than $15,000 of work over several projects, our side walkway began to fail. Their solution to redo the entire project a much greater cost, without accounting for the original flawed job, wasn't acceptable to me. Over 3 months we played text tag with Mr. Kettell telling me each time that he was busy but would meet with me to discuss a solution. We didn't even need to meet again in person, we probably could worked out a solution on the phone in 10 minutes. Instead, he put it off again and again, never initiating, only responding and delaying over and over. An improperly installed patio drain pipe, which they even agreed they screwed up, isn't fixed 2 years later. We could have been advocates, but after being ignored this long we realize they don't value us as customers.

Kate from Kettle Inc. came out to write up an estimate for the job on May 23, 2018. She was very pleasant and seemed to know her business. ( I had gotten the name of the business from a neighborhood website). Kate advised me that her husband may need to come out to look at a few things if he had any questions with her drawings or pictures. I was told I would have an estimate within about a week. A week passed and I called her inquiring the status around May 30, 2018. She told me her husband needed to come out and would I be available. I told her I would be here that Thursday or Friday ( May 31, June 1). I have never heard from them since nor have I ever received an estimate. Today is June 18, 2018. If I ever do receive an estimate I would never hire them not after this lack of communication.
