Very pleased with Water Systems service, promptness, and price. While they were at my house, they also contracted with a neighbor for the same type service, they were very pleased as well. I will contact Mark of Water Systems again should I need sprinkler repair / replacement.

It started unpleasantly and got worse from there. First, in order to get an estimate on the sprinkler and sod installation we needed, I was told that they had to send a tech. Since I was paying a standard service fee and saw that the company was advertising that they did backflow assembly testing, I asked if they could include that with my service call. They said that that would be included. However, the tech that showed up didn't have his certification number or a test kit with him. Now it was important to me that this test get done because there were only 2 weeks left before I'd be late and subject to fine. I asked the service tech to find someone to bring a test or come by and do the test. He tried at my insistence but couldn't find anyone. He did have someone call him to say that they would do the test in the morning for $90. I said forget it. $128 later the tech was finished. What did I get for that money? Confirmation that my system had to be replaced (knew that before I made the call) and a rough (and I mean rough) sketch of my house for Sean, the residential manager who would prepare an estimate. So, this is a way to get around doing free estimates. The residential manager dropped off an estimate, it seemed fair. I let him know I felt I got screwed over by the service tech who did not perform the backflow assembly test. Sean said he would handle that and did get someone to do the test. I went along with the estimate for the sprinkler system and the work was done the next week. I passed on the sod installation. I have to say that I did not think that any effort or thought was put into the estimate for the sod installation. My yard is such a mess that a really good landscaper would know that just throwing sod down was not the answer. I needed dirt, retaining walls, etc. About a week after we had the system put down, we thought they used old sprinkler heads. They didn't but we wanted them replaced because they had a weak flow (they were for commercial I think --had "reclaimed water" warning on them). Everything that needed to be done took several phone calls to fix. There were also several missed and broken appointments. Finally, I was questioned as to whether I paid my bill. I had given a $1300+ check to the residential manager, Sean and he gave me a signed receipt/invoice that said "paid in full". I was questioned a couple of times, so I called the owner (I think) and gave her the info on the check. 2 weeks later I was asked in a phone message to write a new check because they had no record of it. The owner didn't go to her bank to get to the bottom of this, just waited for records to come in. I guess she expects the customer to do all the work? After the third/fourth inquiry, I faxed her a copy of my cleared check. Haven't heard from her since and when we called company to get Sean to give us a date when sprinkler heads would be replaced, was told he was gone from company. Regardless, I think the company is unprofessional from the top down.

I called on a Tuesday morning and set up the appointment for the next day. The repair guy came in the morning, assessed what I needed and completed the work.

They were prompt, attentive to detail, will return if work not completed to customer satisfaction, will come out during daytime to complete work and follow up with an invoice via mail.
