Our condominium's landscape committee had scheduled 3 landscape companies to bid on re-landscaping the entire property, including addressing drainage issues, replacing old plant material with new, irrigation, and a maintenance program.  At the time, the anticipated budget was around $75,000, not including the monthly maintenance contract.

The 3 condo's landscape committee members met with Earl Wilson, for over 2 hours, in going over the entire property.  To better assist Mr. Wilson, we told him that an original land survey would be provided.  He said that he would stop by and pick up the survey within the next two days, which he did not do.  We also clearly stated that we would need an estimate and general plan within 2 weeks, before the monthly H.O.A. board meeting, which Mr. Wilson promised he would submit by that time.  Not only did he not follow-up on his promise, even after several attempts were made to get in touch with him to confirm that he was going to have the estimate ready, he also claimed to have already been working on the estimate.  

In the final days before the estimate/plans due date, Mr. Wilson's office personnel profusely apologized for his unprofessional manner, after having told us that he wasn't going to be able to submit the estimate, in time for the board meeting.  Needless to say, we were annoyed and frustrated by Mr. Wilson's misleading us to believe that his landscape company was competent, especially after he commented several times about how poorly the existing landscaping service was doing their job (hence why we were looking for a new landscape company).  Meanwhile, the other 2 landscape bids were submitted, well within the 2-week deadline, along with their proposed plans.  The time that was spent on dealing with this unprofessional company was time that could have been used for a third landscape company, who was integrity-based.

I HAVE BEEN QUITE PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY'VE BEEN VERY GOOD ABOUT DOING EXTRA THINGS IF YOU ASK LIKE CLEARING OFF THE ROOF AND TRIMMING OUT THE BUSHES AND CLEARING OFF BAD BRANCHES AND THAT KIND OF THING. THEY KEEP THE YARD NICE.
