The only part of the visit that was not professional was the front desk manager she tried to over charge us and was not responsive about different types of flea med.

Dr. Rick gave him an anti-inflammatory shot (our choice over pills since the cat is 17 pounds and not easy to give pills). He also prescribed some ointment and said it looked like a bug or spider bite and if it got worse to bring him back in. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Rick since 1989, when he was first at Tuskawilla Animal Hospital. He is a wonderful vet and a super great guy (even though he is a Gator fan lol). He often calls us at home to check on the pets after they are in for something unexpected. The office staff is super nice and very professional. Just great service altogether and they love all the pets that come in. Would recommend to everyone!!

They're great! Great service, great staff. They really care about your animals. We had to have a pet put down and they were so kind and respectful.

They're all good there. My best friend sees another vet, and loves the practice too. The availability is great - you can get in when you need to. They're great with the animals and their fees are more reasonable than other vets in the area. Dr. Rick is a very good problem solver and offers options for treatment. Whenever I've come in with an issue, he has called back the next day to follow up and see how we're doing.

We followed him when he moved his clinic because he was so good. We've been using them for probably 10 years and he's excellent. They are very interested in the animals so it's not just a factory, they are very good. For both of the cats it might have been $200. One was very sick because she developed an eye infection. She was just a baby when she found us. Now she has an eye infection which she then gave to the other cat so they now both have it. He is very reasonable and he is very concerned. When it comes to animals with us, they are like people. You won't care what it cost if they need help. We have cats and German Shepherds. The cats found us. We never really pursued them.

Our female was exhibiting neck pain. Dr. Rick prescribed an anti-inflammatory and a muscle relaxer. She was better within 3 days. We love Dr. Rick. We have been going there for 4 and a half years. Our male dog has bad allergies and visits regularly. We also have their nails trimmed there about once a month.

First visit in July was the first time to establish my dog with the doctor. She needed her anti-anxiety medication refilled. It was a good examination.
Second visit was due to blood in her stool a couple weeks after the first visit. The doctor saw her right away, examined her and assured me it was not serious. He gave instructions on what to watch for the next few days. He gave a prescription for an antibiotic and samples of probiotics to help keep her digestive system in order.
The results were very good and very quickly she recovered.

The doctors at Park Ave Animal Hospital go above and beyond! I have seen them several times (both of them) for various things - annual doggy checkups, a possible ear infection, doggy diet advice, and nail trimmings.
The staff is friendly. The building is SUPER clean and very tastefully decorated. I LOVE that they take a picture of your dog/cat after services have been rendered to put on the bill. They also give away free items around the holidays (who does that?! Awesome).
For my dogs' annual checkups, I have NEVER had a veterinarian perform such a thorough exam. They are extremely patient and kind, even when my dogs were spazzing out and acting crazy (and tried to bite them...whoops!). They always answer all my questions, even the stupid ones, and I have never felt like I was being hustled out of the room for the next client.
My dogs don't look forward to going to the vet (probably never will), but I do because I truly feel that my dogs get extraordinary care.

The prices were a little high. We had a short wait time when we got there. A and ldquo;Band rdquo; isn't a bad grade; they just didn't do anything outstanding. I want options from my vet. They do offer flea medication at a good price. As far as a yearly checkup, I'll keep shopping.
