"Good afternoon Mr. [member name removed], I do apologize for the inconvenience. This review came to my attention today. For some reason I never got it, if so, I would have reached out sooner. There were a few things that concerned me about your review. First, We never charge by the hour, we always charge by the task or work to be done. Your Refrigerator was a Samsung, and that particular assignment would've taken the tech about 30-40 minutes to complete . If the tech told you 15 mins. that was incorrect information. If I would have known this ahead of time, I would have handled this appropriately. I do apologize for this misunderstanding. Also, the tech never knew you were an Angie's List customer. We do special pricing for our AL customers. It bothers me to know this was over-looked and we could not accommodate your needs. We have made the appropriate corrections and have taken your review as a way for us to grow and better service our customers. Don't allow your first experience with us dictate the way you view us. When the service technician called me back he said he knew what the issue was - it was a bad sensor and he would look up the cost to fix it. He called me back and said the labor was now $192 and the part over $200 plus tax. He never even took the time to come to my house and only wanted to sell me a part. I decided to go to home depot and get the right sized screw head so I could remove the screws from the front plate on the washer and sure enough it was the trap that was clogged that was causing the problem and no sensor needed to be fixed. Total cost was $1.49 and about 10 minutes of my time vs. the over $400+ the wanted to charge me which wouldn't have even fixed the issue.
