MALTBY'S TREE & BOBCAT SVC

This company really screwed us over. DO NOT USE THEM! We started talking to Maltby Tree Service about 6 weeks before Hurricane Irma. We were quickly put on the schedule with no issues. Well, as soon as the hurricane looked like it was coming to Florida, they quickly canceled us. Eventually, due to constant nagging on our end, we got the company to come out a few days before the hurricane. They complained every chance they got that they were tired (from doing another job that would get them more money. They actually told us that!! Seriously?!) and completed about 50% of what they were supposed to, with the promise that they would come back and complete the rest of the job after the hurricane. The work that they didn’t complete before the hurricane directly caused damage to our pool enclosure and fence. Tons of $$ lost, due to their incompetence and greediness. Stay away!!!! FYI... they still haven’t completed anything else after tons and tons of phone calls from our end. We told them that we were going to write a review. Their response (via email, because the owner didn’t want to talk to us over the phone or meet up with us to discuss the issue) was “just leave out the stuff about your damages”. Are you kidding me??? How unprofessional is that!?? This is one slimy company that will take your money and run. Please learn from our mistake... do not use Maltby’s Tree Service.

Contacted Mr Maltby after having another service not able to perform work after six weeks of waiting. He was recommended to me by Hamlin's pool service who had repaired broken pipe in hot tub. Service very professional, explanation of everything involved and what would be done. Will definitely use in future.

We were impressed with their professional attitude, fair price, and thorough trimming job. Our messy Holly has never looked so good!
