Jerry Gifford and his team did a fantastic job. The crew removed my existing fence and installed the new one in less than 2 days. The communication with Jerry throughout the process was great. The fence looks beautiful.

I was having great communication with Gifford Fence via email was able to get them out 3 days sooner for an estimate as well. When the estimator arrived it went down hill from here. I asked to be called or texted on arrival instead of using my door. I provided him a printed layout showing the measurements and what I want from another professional fence company. I showed him the minor adjustments I wanted and explained that I am on break from work to please email, text, or call me with the official quote since I already provided the layout and received an unofficial quote for my protect. When checking on what was taking so long he is measuring the area that is not in the layout in bushes, and brush. I question him on it and he starts arguing with me, saying this is 6 feet here. I am 6'6 and what he was showing was maybe 4-5'. So he finishes and gets to the front right of my house. The layout clearing shows 6' + 5' + 10 = 17'. I explained to him that I am on break, I have to go, please follow the layout and send me the info. Instead he became irate to the point that I had to tell him that his service is no longer wanted here. He made sure to leave with a nice "F*** you". Horrible service, do not use.

We received several quotes and felt very comfortable with this family owned business. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, removed our wooden privacy fence and replaced with aluminum fence. They did a great job and were priced right AND honest! I highly recommend them. Great customer service.

My fence looks great. It’s exactly what was promised and at the exact price of the estimate. (None of the common increase in price I often experience in home repairs due to something unexpected.) I would definitely use them again!

Excellent work. Many residents in our neighborhood have used Gifford Fence with great results, so this job was the HOA hiring them to replace the community's old wooden fence with a white vinyl fence. The work was done on time and looks wonderful. Jerry Gifford has fencing down to a science from obtaining the proper permits, to the scheduling, to the installation.

Did a solid job. Crew was on time and did solid work; respected my property and were friendly. They actually moved my job up a month earlier which was good for us. Priced comparably well compared to other bids we received. Have used them twice now several years apart and steady experience both times.

Work done exceeded our expectations. Assembled the fence on site, not the pre-assembled, store-bought fence’s with beams and slats that we’re considerably thicker and wider than the ones you get at Lowe’s or Home Depot, as we’re the rest of the materials like the hinges utilized. Workmanship, communication from start to finish was top notch, while cost was surprisingly on the low end of the multiple bids we received. The work was done in less than 2 days and the clean up wad thorough. Definitely well worth the investment.

I contacted Jerry to buid our custom fence, once he had good reviews here on Angies list. We asked for a double-sided horizontal fence using 4" bords with half inch gap between the bords. We added picture of the especific fence clearly demonstrating what we wanted on the contract. When they started stalling the boards they were putting them right next to each other with no space between them. We immediately talked to his local supervisor and called Jerry as well in order to express our concerne with the gaps / spacing. They both told us that with the time 5 weeks the wood bords would shrink and them we would have the gap that we wanted. Beyond the concern of the gaps, we were also concern about the overall look and quality of the wood bords as they semed to be of inferior quality of the fence that we expected and shown on the picture. The wood bords Jerry instaled were rough. But Jerry insisted then when we stained it would look as we expected. After 5 weeks the gaps were not there. We have called Jerry and he asked us to wait 4 weeks more. We waited and the gaps were less them a quarter of inch (way less the a quarter of inch). I try to reach Jerry and he did not respond to our call, voice message, text and email). Has been 12 weeks to this date and the gaps still not there. The look of the fence is not anywhere near the look that we wanted. The gate was warping and was barelly opening up and we had to have it fixed twice. We paid more them $7.5k for this fence and it looks horrible and dont even look anywhere near what we wanted. We know nothing about fences and we trusted Jerry and his crew to do the job as we have clearly explained to them. I think we will need to escalate this to the legal sphere to get some sort of resolution as Jerry doesn't respond or fix the situation. I would apreciate if the Angies list can do something about it. If you would like to see what we requested originaly and what the final project looks like we have all documented.

I would definitely recommend this company! The crew was punctual, courteous, and worked quickly. They were also cognizant of the property next door, which was a bit of a challenge with the amount of overgrowth there. I'm very pleased with my new fence!

I had the most dilapidated fence in my neighborhood and since I live on the corner it was an eyesore for everyone. The ground had lots of variations in elevation and I thought it would be impossible to install a level fence. They finished the job when I was at work and as I drove up the road and saw how amazing the fence looked (Premium Board on Board Cap Fence with 6"x6" posts and Copper Post Caps) I could not believe the transformation!! Jerry loves fences. He can tell you anything and everything you need to know to expertly advise you. His 2 man crew were professional and hardworking. I'd give Jerry 10 starts if I could.

Everything went great. Fast turnaround time. Even when the custom 14 ft gate was not created correctly, was only a few days to get the new one.

On time, quick, efficient and great workmanship

When ever I need a project done I always get 3-4 quotes. I am about to save the next person time and trouble. I did interview four companies. Non of them could compare to Gifford fence company. Jerry Gifford responded right after my call to his company. We met, I explained my plan, he agreed with most except one small section where he said the city would not approve, so we found a way to fix it so it would work. He explained what materials they would be using and how it would be built on premises. All of it was just what I was looking for. Then he quoted the price, which was under the other three quotes. We scheduled a date for installation, but the city had a back log and my permit hadn't been approved. Jerry call again and get it moving and a new date was set. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and time. Foreman Rick, workers Bryson and Stetson. What a team they are! They got busy, and worked non stop. To watch them was beautiful. Very professional. The work was completed in three and half days. I found a small part that needed repairing from my old fence and Rick called Jerry and it was done a week later, no problem. I couldn't have asked for a better job or better communication or cooperation. If you want your job done right, on time and at a reasonable price, forget the others and call Gifford Fence Company!
