I will be expanding and connecting two islands in my yard and need to remove some sod in preparation for planting and mulching. I found Dave on Craigslist as he does not have a website and the price he quoted was cheaper than renting a sod cutter. Dave showed up on time, measured the area, gave me an estimate, and removed all sod from the area. He cleaned the area up nicely and even removed some of the sod by hand because of existing trees. He typically charges 5 cents a sq foot for sod cutting and 20 cents a sq foot for cutting, removal, and cleanup. I will be using his services in the future when I re-sod my lawn in March. I was very pleased with his level of service.
