Certified AC Service

Our contractor brought in these morons to do our job 10 years ago and they didn't offer anybody else. 10 years later it's obvious it was a big mistake for me not to insist on 3 bids. And I don't know what kind of deal they had with our contractor but I found out later on that the 35,000 system should have cost us 25-27k max. Then when they got in here their engineer argued hard against us splitting the house the way we wanted even though we wanted it that way due to my family's severe allergies. They eventually did it Then when flaps and actuator valves broke on it they overcharged us every time they came by a 300-400% margin. Then to make things worse, ....when we bought the system they secretly put the warranty in their names (instead of ours) so we'd be forced to go back to them for warranty work on the system they installed. I was told by another A/C guy that putting their own names on the warranty was a scumbag move because WE paid for it. If you use these guys don't be stunned when you feel the sting of having to deal with them.

Needed to diagnose and repair A/C system that was not cooling sufficiently, with coils freezing and drains backing up. The Certified tech showed up next day to diagnose and inform us that our coil was leaking. He led me through the entire inspection process and we agreed to proceed with a 6 lb R-22 recharge and sealant/UV dye. We added the service plan and got both systems fully inspected and cleaned. The tech was even thorough enough to point out that our breaker size was wrong for the condenser unit. No extra charge. We will call them for eventual replacement of the leaking system and report back further experience.

he was able to come out the next morning and get the hose cleaned out and get the water drain working and restart the ac.
 please note that the coupon for a 15% discount off "our standard retail pricing to angies list members" doesn't include their yearly service plan. I was surprised by this since i seem to remember that in the past, when we signed up, it had been discounted as the coupon suggests. Please look into this and put this restriction on the coupon.

I have had no issues at all. They did a good installation and we have only had to call them one time since that. We will call them for the replacement of a separate system in the future. They gave us a clear time for the installation and then they came next day for the service most recently as we called late. The guy that did the installation even recommended the less expensive option as I asked him and I felt that was very honest.

The service was excellent. The house is cold again and the air is crisp The technician, Mike was on time, professional and trustworthy. And the air conditioner isn't running constantly and freezing up. The money we spent on this service will quickly be paid back in lower power bills! WIN!

He came out the very next morning, inspected the unit and changed a defective part and the clogged air filter.  These things always happen on the hottest days but we were back up and running that morning.

the experience was very good. They did have a very hard time fitting the air handler into the space but managed to install it ok.

tThey came out with plenty of workers for the job, 2 huge trucks, and were very neat in cleaning up and professional.  Did all the work that they were supposed to in 2 days for a big job.  After they were done showed me how to use the new thermostat, and after they were finished my master bedroom was not cooling as good as i expected it too, they came back out and put in an additional vent, with ductwork for a good price. Overall a really good experience. Not the cheapest price, but not the most expensive price.

The office call was professional, scheduled appointment the first day I was available. They followed up with scheduled appointment and the communication with the technicians was perfect. The two techs were pleasant and professional. They explained the process and got right to work. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up afterwards. The price was definitely fair for the quality I received. The replacement items were a major improvement over what I had existing. The air flow is equal in all rooms and I can certainly notice an improvement in consistent temperature throughout. I highly recommend upgrading duct work as I am anticipating a lower energy bill. A+ overall. No need to shop around. I got several quotes and this was the best with the complete job in mind. Many companies only replace the duct tubes, but it is best to replace the drops too. Great job!

Replacing an entire A/C  system is not fun nor inexpensive. Certified A/C made it as pleasant as possible. The salesman and technicians were topnotch! Everyone we dealt with was professional,  very knowledgeable,  helpful, courteous and always arrived on time. The airhandler is on the second floor and the old unit was removed and new one installed with no mess or damage. They used drop clothes and vacuumed when job was completed. We talked with 5 companies and absolutely made the right choice! We highly recommend them!

The job went great, and I had no problems with them. They were good and reliable, and their price was good too. It was the first time that I used them. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Their quote included a ten year warranty and the vent work as well. My interaction with them was good. The customer service was good and the workers were really nice. The work was done properly. It?s great work because they had the workers do it then someone checked it. Something was done wrong, but it was corrected right away. The price was very competitive. I would use them again in the future.

Called in the morning, Steve arrived right after lunch to diagnose the problem - bad bearings in the condenser motor. He ordered a replacement motor and arranged to return with it the next day. A few minutes after he left, he called back saying the company already had a motor they wouldn't need right away asked if he could just come back and install. Of course, I said yes and he was done two hours later. The price seemed high, but I really don't have any experience to compare it to. It was $76 for diagnosis and the motor and installation on top of that.

They were both reliable and prompt. I appreciated them cleaning up after themselves as well. The work was completed in the timeframe specified for the price agreed upon. I would surely use them again when necessary.

Install went well. Only problem was a part they needed to remote control the outside unit with the inside unit. (Otherwise they would have needed to run new wiring.) That part did not come in until 3 days later, scheduled time and they came out to install. VERY good service and VERY knowledgeable.. Helped explain some things to me. Now, I have some knowledge about HVAC and have researched for 5 months before contacting 5 vendors for quotes. Certified was NOT the lowest, but the best for the amount of work and information provided.

They were very good. The technician who came out was very fast and quick. He did the work and the problem was fixed. I would use their services in the future too.

The crew showed up on time, laid down drop cloths. Took out old units. They had to adjust the height on the platform for the air handler and redo duct work to the air handler. Installed a thermostat, and started the unit up. They cleaned up before leaving and actually left the install looking better than when they started. It took longer than they expected because of some complications, but they didn't leave until it was completed and I paid just what was originally estimated. After the installation, they had to come back because of not properly reconnecting a water pipe they had to move. I found everyone friendly, and courteous, and willing to answer questions during the job. They were very responsive to my needs and made adjustments to the installation in response to my desires, no questions asked.
