 + -1 moreCalled several times over 2 weeks having been promised a call...never received one. Claimed to have tried multiple parts and could not get it fixed. When I showed up and asked to have it plugged in the TV wouldn't even boot up so it was actually in worse non working condition then when i brought it in. He offered to sell my another LG 37" TV for $55 but I declined. Ended up leaving him the non working TV. His "showroom" was full of what appeared to be 50-75 TVs in for repair or awaiting pickup.
Description of Work: Took 55" LG TV for repair....screen would go black after few minutes, while sound continued.

 + -1 moreI had no power to my 52" Toshiba LCD TV so I dropped it off at the shop. He called the next day with the estimate for $185. I ok'd the work and the following day he called to say that it was fixed and I went and picked it up. It is now workin fine. Would use his services again.
Description of Work: Fixed power module.

 + -1 moreI would definitely recommend this company as they were efficient and honest.
Description of Work: Provided me with an estimate stating that the television had a bad main module and could not be repaired. And I was reimbursed for the cost of the estimate and the cost of the television. AV Electronics was honest as I left the television with them and waited to hear from them with an answer as to if it could be repaired.

 + -1 moreCalled AV Electronics, gave problem details on the phone, they knew what was needed, ordered parts. when the parts came in they came out to the house and replaced the old board and the TV runs fine. TV was under the guarantee and it didn't cost me anything.
