Michele Herndon, P.A.

My husband and I recently sold our home in Georgia and moved to Florida. We are looking to buy our new home in Tampa. Our former realtor referred us to Michele. We contacted Michele and she agreed to work with us. But then she quickly pushed us off onto her "buyer specialist," who she claimed was an expert at finding buyers exactly what they want.  This specialist was nice and pulled listings for us and showed us some homes. But she did not provide sufficient information on good neighborhoods, schools, traffic/commute times, investment potential, nearby amenities, etc.  She basically just read off of the MSL report. So we went back to Michele and said we needed someone who had more knowledge of the area and could help us guide us through this process. Michele agreed to take over our search and show us properties that following weekend. Well we didn't hear from her all week and then Friday I call and email to see what's up. She finally responds that she can't do it b/c several things came up, including a health issue, and that she contacted our former realtor to help us find someone new. I thought that was really unprofessional. I know health and personal issues come up from time to time with everyone,  but you still should handle your business. Was she not going to contact me directly? She was going to let our former realtor handle the situation? Even before the health issue, we felt unimportant to Michele and her team, and that we were bothering them when we asked for information. I guess b/c we're not "luxury" buyers they don't have time for us. I would not recommend buying your home with her.
