Day 2 of the project, she's still painting the first room. I am informed that she is planning a trip somewhere at the beginning of June, and that th project will have to be put on hold until she gets back. None of this was mentioned at the time I signed the contract. Based on the fact that she had not completed 2 rooms in four days, I had to go find a real painter, and dump the "Prima Donna". When I asked her for receipts for the supplies that were purchased, I explained I wanted to see how badly I'd been screwed, she got pretty irate. But as I see it, she basically got free round-trip airfare for wasting my time and money. Lesson learned? NEVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH HIS PERSON.
Description of Work: I had originally contracted this person to paint the entire interior of a home in order to prepare it to go on the market. Baseboards, doors, walls, ceilings. I (like an idiot) signed a contract, and paid half of the money up front. Before the first room was even finished, so was I!
