The A/C was blowing hot air after being turned on in the late afternoon. Turned off system and waited for husband to come home to look at it. He decided we needed to call someone. We looked on Angie's List and found Brown Comfort Systems, they had a 24 hour contact. We called around 8pm and they made an appointment for 7:30am. Showed up on time and fixed everything quickly and inexpensively. Florida in June need A/C, thanks Brown Comfort System!

I really don't remember all the details. As I age that seems to happen more and more often.
I had some personality differences with Mr. Brown which was probably my fault but that is the reason for not hiring him again. Not the quality/price of his work.

I have had an ongoing problem for the last year with leaking freon in my HVAC. I purchased a home at the beginning of 2010 which has an air conditioning system that is 18 years old. I have 3 previous service calls from 3 different AC companies that told me what the problem "might" be and each recommended that I should replace the entire system. Instead I had them re-fill the refridgerant which last appx 4 months before needing to be refilled. Mr. Brown came out and was able to identify the specific problem and was able to patch where one of the previous service technician had broken a valve that was allowing a slow leak of the freon. The patch is not a long term solution but will get me through the next few months so I can budget for the replacement system. Mr. Brown also reviewed replacement options with me that started at $4,500. The quote from the last company I received before Brown AC to replace the systems was $12,000. Brown AC will get all of my future HVAC work and my recommendations to all of my friends.
