Spoke with Jaime Waite, to get floors repairs as there were cuts from the dishwasher being installed. She stated they would do a "quick" fix. I told her I was concerned the damage would return, she then brought up her dad, stating he did floors and patches would work. I also advised the trimming was coming up inside the home and needed to be fixed. She sent a contractor" over to make repairs. On his walk through, this man stated he's never done this work before and will "see what he can do". Once he left I called Jaime and told her of this, she disregarded my concern and said he was their only contractor. He came back to complete the work. I asked him to wear booties, he didn't, he also set his dirty tools on my new rug and sofa. He gorilla glued only one cut on the floor and managed to ruin my Custom Island I had installed. He got gorilla glue all over the island countertop and all over the kitchen floor. After trying for 4 hours, I was unable to get the glue off my floor or countertop. He was also there to fix the door as it would not stay closed unless the deadbolt was locked. He took all the metal plates out of the frame and managed to dent the medal door frame. This is issue was not fixed like many other things. Since then, I have been dealing with Jaime Waite's supervisor, Todd Tentinger, he has also disregarded my concerns, even after pictures of damage were sent.

I asked fleet homes to remodel my two car garage, which was being used as storage. The space had already been enclosed with French doors installed, however it was several hundred feet of unused, impractical space. I dealt directly with the Fleet Homes president, Steve. He was great! He came out, designed a floor plan that would get the best utilization and resale value. It was imperative to me that the room not look like an out of place addition. The project included building a hallway with a dropped ceiling and raised floor to align with the pre-existing floor in the home (as the addition was initially three or so inches lower having been a garage). A large laundry room was constructed as well as a spacious fourth bedroom with French doors out of the home.

Steve handled all of the permitting for me, which I've heard can be an absolute nightmare. He was extremely accessible and was available by phone, email, or text if need be. He always checked with me ahead of time before he scheduled inspections, which always passed effortlessly. Fleet Homes was polite and professional, aside from some materials needed at the property, I hardly noticed they were there!

I am so glad that I went with Fleet Homes. My husband and I decided on the project to add resale value to our home. We had previously listed the home before the renovation but never got an offer in several months. Once the project was completed our home was on the market less than 24 hours before we got our first offer (over asking price)!

They used wood that was not marine certified, they did not use stainless steel screws and bults, they did not follow the engineers plans, and when confronted by the engineer and the township inspecters, Fleet said we just did it our way. I had another certified Marine engineer look at the project and was told that the way it was built would not meet code and that the dock was unsafe because it had no support beams.
I confronted Fleet Homes and they told me they would not change it even thought the city would not approve it, it was unsafe, and he did not follow the engineered township accepted plans that the permit was based on.
I had to sue Fleet Homes, we settled out of court but it took almost a whole year. Then I had to get the entire dock that Fleet had build demoed, and had to have a new dock built by a different company, the project enede up taking 2 years and costing 70% more than it should have cost.
Do not use this builder, they will cheat you .

Fleet Homes is a family run business and make it a point to treat you like family! Respect, integrity, kindness, pride in their work, timeliness are a few words that come to mind when describing Fleet. There was never a time that my phone calls weren't answered. My concerns were always addressed and I truly felt that the building of our home was their top priority. Once the building process began it took three months and two days to accomplish the task. We cannot say enough about how much we love our home and how happy we are with its quality and the whole experience of building it!
