From application to closing, Patrick Storch and his team provided very good, personalized service. I shopped lenders, local and national, and in addition to fees and rates, service is an important component to me. I received a call from Patrick himself when I submitted a myriad of questions to assure I was comparing apples to apples among lenders. Truth in lending forms were not quite as easy to compare as I thought, and Patrick was very transparent about fees, rates, etc. He worked hard to earn my business, and I was left feeling like I was not just getting good service, but a good deal. He and his team are patient and conveyed support and understanding when I reached out. He gave updates on rates and coaching on when to lock. Aside from the smooth financing part of my buying process, the purchase experience was not a pleasant one, but Patrick's support throughout made the financial part something I didn't need to worry about. As an FYI, their specialty is in the loan application, underwriting and closing, not servicing the loan once closed; The Mortgage Firm tells you up front they plan to sell the mortgage; within 3 weeks, it was sold.

The Mortgage Firm was fabulous. As we started our home hunt, we contacted Lending Tree, banks, etc to obtain the best rate for our home mortgage. We were bombarded with phone calls, email, all types of communication but real answers were elusive. Our real estate agent suggested Ryan Larsen and The Mortgage Firm. From that point on, it was smooth as glass. Paperwork is daunting when applying for a home mortgage. Ryan and Brandy Blackwelder walked us through every step. Although we know they were servicing many others, we always were made to feel special and receiving very individualized attention. Yes, there is the origination fee, but The Mortgage Firm earned it! Closing came off without a hitch. All of the paperwork was in perfect order. Even the closing agent said she liked Mortgage Firm closings because they always and quot;came to the tableand quot; clean. Only took about 45 minutes to go through and sign the mountain of paperwork.

They were very efficient and were excellent with communication. They were very courteous and knowledgeable of the process. It was probably the best experience I've had buying a house.

It went awesome. I couldn't have asked for me. They got back to me so fast and answered all questions. Whenever there was an issue they explained it and took care of it. They did a great job.

I had the pleasure of working with Sam Dongilli and his team. My realtor, Joseph Dionne, recommended them after hearing of the problems I was having getting my bank to get off their butts and complete the loan process. I came to Sam with an extremely tight deadline as I had to close on a specific date. I won't say exactly how little time he had lest that become his norm, but it was really tight. His team worked tirelessly, quickly, and more importantly, accurately, in order to get the loan completed and allow closing to commence as scheduled.
Most of our correspondence was via email or by phone and that made it a ton easier for me as my own schedule was very busy, and I really liked how he asked for all the information they would need up front so there wasn't needless delays added while documents were located, sent it, etc. In my opinion, they are a very efficient and professional organization, and if I ever close on another home in the area, I won't hesitate to call Sam and his team again.
NOTE: The number I listed is the approximate amount I paid in total closing costs and haven't sat down to see what parts were from Sam and his team's efforts.

I would recommend Rudy Peterson from The Mortgage Firm. He is not a real estate agent but a mortgage guy. He was just very professional, very personable and very, very knowledgeable. The guy did a FHA process. I do recommend him to people I know.

I don't know what the experience would be like if they had used a competent lender. But we very well could have lost the opportunity to buy the house we wanted. They couldn't close by the deadline. We had a contract on March 18th and hoped to close no later than the end of April. The deadline was May 14th...on May 14th they were sending out surveyors and not even out of the underwriting phase. We closed 1 week later only because the bank and the sellers gave us an extension (that's more work and more stress). It was even iffy for them to get it closed by May 21st. If another company is the best lender this company has then they are in trouble.

Overall, this is a good (not great) company. Although my loan officer seemed perpetually overwhelmed and had difficulty keeping the lines of communication open, the support staff was always super friendly, extremely pleasant, and very quick to respond. They will bend over backwards to work with you and your realtor to get your loan pre-approved and underwritten much faster than most brokers, which is a big deal when you're trying to buy a home. My only complaint with the company was with the interest rate we ended up with. When I received my estimate, I was told that the rate provided at that time was a high estimate, and that my final rate would, in all probability, be much lower at closing. When I expressed concern about it, I was told not to worry about it and, truthfully, made to feel a little like my concern was petty. I was given the impression that my broker would be watching the rates and would suggest that I lock one in when he thought the time was right. Instead, I had to contact their office when I started noticing on my own that rates were starting to climb. In response to my request, I was told that a rate was locked in, although I was never told exactly what the rate was. When it came time to close, I was very disappointed to learn that the rate I ended up with was exactly the same one that was on my "high" estimate and was higher than the national average at the time (I have good credit). Although the support staff at The Mortgage Firm are about the friendliest and most responsive you'll find, money talks, and the extra money that we will be spending over the life of our loan due to the higher-than-anticipated interest rate leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth. Extremely easy company to deal with, but due to the money/interest rate issue alone, I probably would not use them again.

We recently purchased a home that was a short sale property. Our realtor recommended The Mortgage Firm because of their experience in this area. Brett and his team worked with us for several months as we awaited contract approval and some difficult dealings with the seller's lenders. They watched out for our best interests during the etire loan and closing process (Brett even attended the closing to ensure there were no surprises). The good faith estimate was almost exactly what the actual closing costs were. When we got final approval of the contract we were given an extremely short widow to close in. I, and everyone else involved in the sale, were amazed that The Mortgage Firm was able to get the loan approved so quickly and at a great rate as well. We have already recommanded The Mortgage Firm to several friends.
