TENDER PLUMBING CARE

-The technician was over an hour and a half later than the committed time.
-There was no call to let us know he was running late.
-We were promised a price of $75/hour. After services were performed, we were told that was a mistake and the price is $85/hour.
-The total charge was $153, although the person who was monitoring the technician said he was there for 20 minutes at most.
-The person who was monitoring the technician stated that he used one part, and the representative stated that he used many more than that.
-We received no call to let us know what the estimated cost of repairs was going to be.
-The representative stated that she does not call with an estimate if the cost of repairs is under $150, even though it was over that.
-The representative did honor the $150, after telling me that the cost was $153.
-Upon asking if the repairs were completed by the end of the day, the representative stated that she "believe[d]" that they were.
-When I called at the end of the day to inquire about the price of the services performed, the representative stated that she could not tell me. I waited until 1:00 pm the following day, and had to call again to find out the price.

We woke up in the middle of the night Saturday night to an overwhelming ozone smell. We knew we had an electrical issue somewhere! We tracked it down to the hot water heater. My husband threw the breaker to minimize any fire threat. On Sunday, my husband called Tender Plumbing Care. No one answered so we figured they were closed. We went to Lowes to see about a new hot water heater. There was a sign at the hot water heater display for installation at $215. So we went to order the service. First, the installation starts at $410. Second, because of the location of our hot water heater, Lowes needed to send a plumber to check the install and give us a firm installation price. The employee said Lowes considers a hot water heater an emergency so we would get same day service as long as the order was in by noon. We elected to wait for Monday to avoid emergency pricing. Our phone was ringing when we got home. It was Tender Plumbing Care! They realized they had missed our call and was following up to see how they could help us. My husband arranged to have them come out on Monday morning to give us a price. They were there by 9:00 on Monday morning. He confirmed the hot water heater had shorted out and made sure my husband and thrown the correct breaker. Their price was competitive with Lowes. Unfortunately, they couldn't install the hot water heater until Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, we were still waiting for the Lowes plumber. My husband finally called Lowes to find out what had happened to their plumber. He showed up close to noon, assessed the situation, gave the price and then said he couldn't do it until Tuesday. In fact, he wouldn't even send the quote to Lowes until around 3:30 that afternoon. We decided to use Tender Plumbing Care. They have done LOTS of plumbing at my house - from simple kitchen faucet install to re-piping my bathroom for our renovations to working on our water pump. We have always found them to be quick, professional and friendly. They are our go to plumber!

We had one of the sinks in the bathrooms the lines were switched. I called them and they came right out to fix it. They were very responsive and did good work. I love the whole house system.

Three visits corrected the problems. First element did not fix problems. TC needed to discuss with manufacturer in order to solve problem. Both elements needed to be replaced.

It is the best piping system I've seen. Everything feeds into the garage. It's just wonderful. If anything goes wrong I'm able to go into the garage to shut everything off. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up well when they were completed.

The actual technical work from this company was good. The system installation and quality was good (although they missed completing a hose bib). However, there was no professionalism by the installer at all. My wife was home for the installation as I was out of town, and while the lady in the office was good in handling our calls, her husband, the supervisor/owner who arrived and presided over the work was described to me by my wife as overbearing, rude, and disrespectful. She said she had never been treated so poorly by someone as a customer. She found her herself insulted more than once. She let them complete the work as we desperately needed it after a slab leak, but we will never use them again.

Pretty good. One of few problems was misunderstanding about when they were going to start. Also, a problem on some of things needing repair or adjusting after installation.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and professional. He chose a better route for the pipes as the one suggested by the air conditioning serviceman exposed the pipes to accidental breakage. The pipes were rerouted through the attic. The entire outside tap had to be replaced. It was a difficult job as the tap was very old and was connected to PVC pipe located between the wall. Much care had to be taken not to crack the PVC pipe while removing the tap.

They did a really good job. The owner came out to our house and supervised the work. He explained everything they were doing and made sure that they made a small amount of holes in our house.

I took the old tub out, they furnished and put it in the new tub. They were on time and did a good job and the price was fair.

The plumber was friendly and courteous. He performed quality work. I thought the garbage disposal needed replacement, but he said it was just jammed and fixed it quickly. He even left me a small tool and showed me how to unjam it in the future.

The service tech explained everything, he cleaned up well, and went beyond the call of duty.
