Description of Work: I have a vintage Elna Lotus that had not been used for years. They did a thorough tune-up and the machine works. They very kindly reopened the machine and showed me a hard-to-find bushing that causes the machine to make an unfortunate noise. I would definitely take my new machine to them for maintenance.

Description of Work: Had two 50 year old sewing machines and a project that I needed to finish. He did a quick repair on one so that I could wind the bobbin. The one I left was fixed in 3 days. When I went to use the retained machine, the feed dogs did not work, but the fixed one was available, so I got my project finished in time. The quick fix machine was left, and found that the motor was gone and he could not fix it and there was no charge. |

Description of Work: My wife was having a problem with her Singer. She called, basically to get directions. After explaining her problem, the man described how to do her own repair, which she did. Thus saving us about a 100 mile round trip. If we ever have another problem that we cannot fix ourselves, even with his help, we will definitely drive to his shop.

I believe he will come to your home, but I chose to bring my machines to his home; he lives very close to I-4. They were very accommodating of my schedule. I dropped them off and with-in one day all repairs and servicing were done and the machines were ready for pick-up. The price was reasonable for all the work that was done and they were professional and easy to deal with. I would bring my machines back to him in the future.
Description of Work: Repairs and routine servicing on two Singer sewing machines. One needed a bobbin (shuttle)repair. The other had stopped working-needed a bobbin repair, a gear repair and a repair of the electronic foot pedal which would not work (I had previously brought this to a different repairman, who couldn't fix it!) All were fixed well and quickly.
