The service I received was excellent. I dropped off my machine and received a phone call when the machine was ready for pick up. He provided some tips on machine quilting due to the type of machine I own & he also tightened my walking foot, which was about to fall apart, at no additional charge. Overall I am extremely well pleased with the service I received and will definitely take my machine to him again.

Very good service. We came from our home in South Orlando to Mr. Gauvin's business in Altamonte Springs (near I-4!), and he kindly fixed the Singer machine while we waited. Price was reasonable, I can't remember exactly, but it was under $100. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

The doctor serviced and my 1968 and 2005 Kenmore sewing machines.  One is mechanical, and one computerized.  They now work perfectly, and more smoothly than they have in years.  He was patient and answered my questions and assured that every detail was correct.  The time estimate given was one week, and I was thrilled to receive a call the very next day that the work was complete.  The price was less than other stores in town quoted over the phone.  I couldn't be happier, and will use this service again.

What he charges is excellent and he didn't take long. He really provided very good service and I was very happy with that. He told me if I had any problems to just let me know. Very informative, he told me to watch how I'm threading the machines and take my time. If one little thread is off, it can throw the entire thing off. He was very helpful.

This was the second time I have used this provider and previous services were very satisfactory and price was fair. However, this time my very old machine could not be repaired. He was very honest with me and had made every attempt to repair it before informing me of his inability to do so. There was no charge for the time he spent. The date of service is approximate, as I do not remember exactly the date that I had dropped off the machine.

It went fairly well. At first I was thrilled - he was $20 cheaper and 2.5 weeks quicker than another provider that I called. Then I picked my machine up and there was an unexpected charge for a part - he didn't call to tell me about it. Then I took my machine home and checked it (a 30 minute trip each way) and the stitch patterns were WAY off - i.e. wouldn't hold in stretch stitch. So, I took it back, he did the adjustments and it is fine.

It went great!! I dropped off the machine at his office/home one day and two days later it was ready to go. The machine works better than new and now I don't have to spend a lot of money to buy a new machine when the one I was given is now good as new!!

Couldn't have been a pleasanter experience. Worth the drive. Great person to do business with.

We set up an appointment to today at 10 am. He has not shown up or even communicated to let me know if he was going to make it or not. I then received a call from him on Saturday. He left (3) voicemails on a Saturday and one of them was very rude saying that I needed to wake up so he can drop off sewing machines, which we later found were actually for another customer. Then he made an appointment for Monday at 1pm and he was late getting here. He decided that he needed to take both machines to his business because he did not have the belt that he already knew the machine needed. The other machine only needed an adjustment/tune-up. There was no need for him to take them in, he could have just tuned up one of the machines and could have fixed the other on the spot if he had brought a belt. I asked that he at least take the trip charge off my bill, based on all the trouble and he refused to do so. Once I received the sewing machines, I found that they were not even repaired. He has not answered his phone since and the sewing machines are still not repaired. He refused to drop any charges for coming out and was very rude about it.
