Great! I called and Mike diagnosed the problem over the phone. He was at my place within 30 minutes and replaced the spring. He also suggested several maintenance items for me.

OHD was quick and efficient. The old door was down and the new one up before I could believe it. They replaced everything and I couldn't be more pleased. They removed all the old equipment and took all their trash with them. All in all I couldn't be more pleased.

The work was done very well. Mike was very professional and cleaned up after his work. Highly recommend for any garage door needs.

The spring broke in our double garage door, originally installed by this same company 20 years ago. Called them early that same morning and they had a repairman by 2 PM that same day. The repairman (Mike) was prompt, very competent, friendly and very helpful. He had the door fixed with one hour for a reasonable cost. Their office person (Nicole) was likewise very helpful and kept me informed about the probable arrival time of the repairman. All in all, a very painless experience. I strongly recommend Overhead Door for garage doors.

When I contacted them on a Friday and scheduled the work to be done a week later, all was fine.  When I signed the contract on Monday, all was fine.  After scheduling a vacation day to be home for the work to be done as scheduled, I was told on Wednesday (48 hrs from the scheduled time) the door was not in stock and it would be another two weeks before one could come in.
To their credit, after several emails, they offered an upgraded door.  However, that door would not be acceptable to the home owners association.
It took me following up with them to assure I would not be taking off another work day in vain.  
The installer was professional and on time.

Great! He lubricated my other two doors and showed me how to do it.

100% satisfied. No problems whatsoever. No surprises either.

I called on Monday, and they were able to schedule someone to come out next day, which was great. However, technician was very late, 2 hours late. I had to wait, missing time from work. But everything worked out, he got the installation done fairly quickly, which was appreciated. I would use company again, provided they arrive on time next time.

My garage door was rubbing. I was unaware that there are different brands of garage doors. They could not perform service on my system because it was not an Overhead system. I would use them again, if I ever had an Overhead system.

Customer service was excellent. The company was very good about making sure we knew in advance how much parts and the labor would cost, when an ordered part should arrive, and when the part actually did arrive. The technician who did the repair seemed to know his trade exceptionally well and the door has been working perfectly since his repair 3 weeks ago. While I think the technician did a super job and that he had an excellent work ethic and a great deal of expertise, I have two suggestions for him and Overhead Doors: One is that the technician ask customers if they want to pay an additional $7.50 to have the noises taken away before doing the additional work. $7.50 is a small amount and I didn't think the technician was intentionally dishonest. I think he just wanted to make sure that door was in really good shape when he left (and it was). However, I do consider the communication of additional charges, even small ones, to be part of what's involved in conducting business honestly. Second, I'd like to see the technician wearing a mask when spraying lubricant. Breathing that stuff couldn't have been good for his lungs or any other part of him (the air was laden with it). Similarly, he needs to make sure family members and kids especially (!) are out of the (closed) area when he sprays chemicals.

THEY WERE TIMELY, AND THE QUALITY WAS GOOD. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. HE WAS PRETTY OPEN. HE DISCLOSED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. HE TOOK THE TIME TO SHOW ME HOW TO ADJUST IT MYSELF NEXT TIME. HE SHOWED ME HOW TO ADJUST THE TENSION. HE SHOWED ME EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED SO THE NEXT TIME I COULD FIX IT MYSELF.
