Description of Work: Upon our request, a representative came to our home. We made arrangements for cremation and disposition of our remains. The representative was polite, respectful, and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Purchased cremation and transportation services for both of us. "Not dead Yet" |so I can't report on the final performance on the contract. It is by far the least expensive of burial plans for us.

Description of Work: I pre-paid for cremation services for my wife and I.

Description of Work: My father passed away on 3/14/2012 at Bayview Center, LLC (a nursing home) in downtown Eustis. I, as my father's then Durable Power of Attorney, saw to it that the Irrevocable Trust was pre-paid a year before the actual use of the service was required. Once my father passed away, Gil Carlson, Manager of the office at 17350 SE 109th Terrace Road, Summerfield, FL 34491, saw to it that my older sister (age 53 and almost 5 years my junior) and I had plenty of time to go spend time with his body, mourn and say our final good-byes before they came and picked up his remains -- a greatly appreciated gift to each of us. Between the attending doctor (who never came to see him in the hours leading up to or after his passing away) and the State of Florida's laws, our father's cremation was not completed until 3/24/2012 and then on Monday, 3/26/2012, when the Neptune Society had both our father's ashes ready and had finally received the certified copies of his death certificate from the State of Florida, Mr. Carlson called me to make an appointment at 4:00 pm that very afternoon, to come and pick up my father's remains. The Masonic memorial service was then able to be held at the pre-scheduled time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, 3/28/2012. Gil Carlson was at all times comforting and respectful, not to mention exhibiting the highest professionalism throughout the difficult time we had to make it through. I'm sure that I speak for my other four siblings as well as myself in thanking Gil Carlson and the Neptune Society for all they did in our initial time of mourning. Our mourning may continue but it is in the selfish desire to have our father still with us, but then he had really not been present in our world through his Alzheimer's condition for almost a year leading to his demise. We pray that he is indeed in a better place and knows that we each love him in our own way. Thank you, Neptune Society -- through Gil Carlson -- for making these past two + weeks a little easier.
