I called Kershaw's the day before asking if they serviced the Toro electric mower (and quot;eCyclerand quot;), and their representative said and quot;yesand quot; and to please bring the charger along with the mower. I went there this morning with the mower, unloaded it, took it into their store, only to be greeted by a young, highly unprofessional, and obviously less-than-knowledgeable employee who said he doubted that they
would/could service the mower and that he'd have to speak to the owner (who was in another room). I told him about my conversation with the rep the day before and that seemed to make absolutely no difference to this young man. The person with whom I spoke (whose name I failed to get - stupid on my part) was not working that day, but was identified as the person who had to have told me that they'd service the mower. But my conversation with him was dismissed because he and quot;should not have toldand quot; me that Kershaw's would service the mower.
LONG STORY short, one of the other employees standing there listening to the conversation between me and the young man said that they could at least look at it, but that idea was shot down and I had no choice but reload the mower and go back home to start over on my service provider search.
What LOUSY customer service and customer relations this company exhibited today. If they were the last mower repair service in the entire Orlando area, I'd drive to Tampa or Miami before I'd ever deal with them again!

I've done business with Kershaw's for several years now. I had a commercial walkbehind mower that the recoil handle would rip out of my hand sometimes when I tried to start it. When I described the problem to Greg, he immediately knew what the issue was even though I had the mower at another shop to have it checked out for the same problem (they said it was fine??!).
One repair later and I was good to go. In fact better than ever. This same, similar situation seems to play out every time I need some real professional, expert advice. I make sure I speak to Greg. IMHO, he is the most knowledgeable, technical shop guy in town. I have found that Greg freely gives his opinion and readily shares his knowledge and experience. The rest of the staff is very helpful and professional also. Never an attitude or issue and I have been to most of the mower shops in the metro Orlando area over the years. I simple can't say the same for a lot of them. Go visits these folks. I recommend them highly.

The personnel are knowledgeable and helpful. The repair work was done on a timely basis.

COST WAS RATHER PRICEY. COST OF NEW EQUIPMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN APPROX $150.00. THEY DID NOT CALL WITH QUOTE OF REPAIR OR WHAT WAS NEEDED BEFORE COMPLETING WORK. IF WE WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS HIGH MAY NOT HAVE HAD IT REPAIRED.
