HEALTHY HOME CLEANING SERVICES

They used to come out on Wednesdays for a couple of hours. They usually needed to reschedule and sometimes they didn't show up. I would really appreciate a phone call to let me know when a company cannot keep an appointment. I will not be using them in the future.

This company has had 3 ownership changes in the past 18 months. Work under the original owners was first rate in all respects. Since then the overall quality has, in my opinion, declined significantly. It finally reached the level that I canceled and asked to have my key returned. Since they removed their phone number from the invoices they left and I only had a P.O. Box for their address I had to write to them. They left a message on my phone indicating they had received my cancellation letter. The current owners have said they want to correct mistakes the previous owner made but they have a long way to go.

I asked if the maids could come by when I was at home the first time so I could meet them and discuss particulars. I was told they could not come before 9:45 a.m. (keep that in mind if you work outside the home). The gentlemen I spoke to, I think his name was Scott, gave me an estimate over the phone and we scheduled a day for them to come. The maids showed up only a few minutes late. I walked them through our house and discussed the fact that we have a very old cat, that we close the guest bedroom to keep him out, that he needed access to his litter box downstairs, and that he would probably hide upstairs under our bed while the maids were there. Though they advertise as environmentally friendly, the maids asked me if I had cleaning products they could use on my marble countertops and tile floors. I found this odd and asked them to use whatever they usually used, but indicated that if they did not have something to clean marble or tile, they would find cleaning products under the sink. I was given an invoice and wrote a check before they started so that I could leave for work. When I came home, I found the maids had closed the cat in the upstairs bedroom, where he, not able to get to his litter box, did his business on our bed. Obviously, this undid much of the work the maids had put into cleaning the master bedroom. We also found several spots that they did not bother to clean at all, such as some of the kitchen cabinets, the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, and the ceiling fans in some of the rooms. Overall, I found them to be sloppy and careless. I guess getting an award from Angie's List has allowed them to backslide.

Crew arrived on time with all cleaning materials. They stayed about 2.5 hours and were conscientious about security (making sure the home was securely locked up) when they left. They followed my instructions for that and I felt comfortable with them as individuals.

The Healthy Home team was at my home last week when I happened to be there rather than at work, for part of their cleaning time. I had the pleasure of seeing them (they're wonderful people) and observing their work. I have been a client of Healthy Home for 5 years now and I never cease to be amazed at the quality of the people they send to clean my home. The Healthy Home cleaning crew are always neat, clean, personable, responsible, hard-working, diligent and honest, demonstrating great integrity. They are a pleasure to have in my home. They're always willing to take on additional tasks when asked (making beds,etc). All of this in addition to the BONUS of coming home to a beautiful, clean home free of toxic chemicals and their odors. Last week Victor lead the team and supervised the work. As always, he was so pleasant and he had everything under control. Luis and Maria were working with him and all three worked diligently and independently, going from one task to the next. While there, Luis was using my small vacuum cleaner and it stopped working. He immediately came to inform me that it had stopped and after I told him that when it gets overheated the safety feature shuts it off, he said he'd check it before they left and write me a note if it still wasn't working. Well, I was totally amazed! Often when things break, people are hesitant to report it because they are concerned about being held financially responsible for repairs or replacement. This was definitely not the case last week and I was thrilled with the integrity Luis demonstrated in that situation. Instead of hiding it, he sought me out to make sure I knew what happened. Over the years, working with Naomi and Dewey Bergman to schedule, change schedules when need be, etc., has given me the greatest respect for the quality, cutting-edge cleaning business that they have developed. Healthy Home once again has provided me and my family with a clean, healthy environment we all appreciate and enjoy. Thanks again for another job well done!!

Healthy Home is by far the best and most reliable maid service we ve ever had. There are lots of things we like about this company. They obviously take a great deal of pride in what they do. Their employees are screened, bonded and well trained. All their work is guaranteed. They use only safe, green products, and their detailing is so meticulous everything sparkles when they re done. Best of all, this company s level of excellence is consistent. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

They had a key to get in and the people in the office told them what they wee to do and about the alarm, because I was out of town on business. The crew is not trustworthy.

For $126 per cleaning every 2 weeks, I feel I am getting a great deal. The cleaning by their team is excellent. What I find most gratifying is the response by Naomi at the office. She keeps me closely informed anytime they may be late and I am glad to work with her to meet unforeseen scheduling problems on either of our ends letting me know well in advance if they need a change. You can't go wrong with these people.

From first contact, they have been very friendly and professional. After my first call, a gentleman came right out to give me an estimate. He took very thorough notes regarding what I did want and did not want touched. Made careful notes about making sure my cats were not allowed to get out. Cleaning services have been immaculate. My home is so fresh and neat when I get home. For the most part, things are put back in their original places after dusting - which I really appreciate.

Housecleaning is not exactly my favorite activity, but I did my own because it was so hard to find a reliable company. I began looking for a service that had a good reputation, that was bonded and insured (I m very security conscious). I wanted a service that did not use toxic chemicals in their cleaning. I feel very fortunate to have found Healthy Home. They re a family-owned company that charges slightly more than most, but they re well worth it. From the first day, they impressed me with how unique they were. A group of bright-eyed, intelligent young people showed up at my door, and within a matter of hours my home looked fabulous. They re very well trained, and they work hard. They never miss details like the track lighting, the corners over the windowsills, and the areas behind the drapes. They ve done an absolutely fantastic job on my hardwood floors. They re always friendly, accommodating and willing to go the extra mile for me. You can t go wrong with this company.

I noticed online that Healthy Home had won Angie s Super Service Award. That doesn t surprise me. They do a truly excellent job cleaning my home. I d been resisting hiring a maid service, as I m very particular about the way I keep my home. However, a neighbor gave me rave reviews about Healthy Home. She originally hired them because she was concerned about exposing her family to the dangerous chemicals many maid services use, and Healthy Home pioneered green cleaning in Central Florida. I didn t know much about green cleaning at that time, but I was certainly impressed with the great job they d done on her home. They do my entire house -- the vents, the woodwork, removing the mold in the shower, etc., and on subsequent visits, everything is perfectly maintained. What impresses me the most is the pride this company takes in its work. They deserve the award they received from Angie s List. On a scale of 1 to 10, Healthy Home is a 10.

Victor and Amanda worked diligently from the time they entered the house. They know the routine very well, but there are changes from time to time. Right now, my husband is in the middle of a building project in our family room, so I told Victor to just work around the mess, since it would continue. Instead, Victor vacuumed the dusty couches and chair, dusted, and thoroughly vacuumed every part of the room and even cleaned the work table, giving my husband a "clean start". It's obvious that Victor and Amanda take pride in their accomplishments. My house looks beautiful and it smells clean and fresh! I had to make a schedule change for this service and Naomi and Dewey (owners) are always willing to try to accommodate any changes. They are people of integrity and they truly care about their clients.

Naomi was very friendly and accommodating. She sent a crew of three so the work was done quickly. She uses "green" products so the price was a bit more, but I believe the work was done in less time, so the cost equals out. The staff was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

Overall, I am not a happy client which is why I will no longer be using their services. I felt compelled to write a review because I gave them four months to satisfy me and they failed. The communication between the office person (Naomi) and the maids was terrible. Originally when I called, they gave me a quote on the phone and set a date. To my surprise the date was not for a cleaning but to give me another quote. They didn't make that clear, so I was expecting them to show up and clean. On another occasion they showed up without telling me they were coming. They thought I was on a biweekly instead of monthly. Another time they showed up about 1 or 2 hours late because they said the office gave them the wrong directions to the job prior to mine. To their credit, they gave me one free cleaning to try and keep me as a customer. Overall, it's not worth it to me!

I was more than pleased with the job Healthy Home did on my home. I could have sworn they painted the house, it was so bright and clean! And everything smelled all fresh and lemony instead of chemically. They were also so very nice and friendly. I don't think I've ever seen anybody work so hard.

I met the Taryn and Victor at the house at 10 am to let them in. I was embarrassed to even let the cleaners see the mess it was in. But when I returned 3 hours later, it was like a new home. I'm thinking twice about renting it out, it looks so good. I don't know how they did it, but they did it wonderfully!

I have Healthy Home come out twice a month to clean my house. They use all natural cleaning products which is very important to me and do an excellent job. They always send the same crew, which it great because they know the house and how I want things done. They are reliable and pleasant. I recommend their service highly. They charge by the hour, the time they spend at my house depending on what I need done.

They were on time, they gave a discount on their price because I found them on Angie's List. They were friendly and professional. They specialize in using "green" or natural products. Their price was a little higher because of the green cleaning products, but I thought that it was worth it.

David Brossart came to our home to give a quote on the work we wanted done. He was very personable, respectful, and listened carefully. We have allergies and were happy with the all-natural products used, plus the house had a wonderfully clean smell! The cleaners that came to our home were happy, respectful, and worked every single minute of the time they were here. I was completely satisfied with Healthy Home services and am planning to have them return in 2-3 weeks to clean another wing of our house. Kudos to Healthy Home Maid Services!

When we first called Healthy Home, a representative came out to our home and asked us what our goals were for cleaning our home. Then we arrived at a price and we decided we needed cleaning every two weeks. At that time, usually the same two women cleaned our home and they were outstanding women who did an excellent job cleaning our home. Then, both women left to achieve other goals they had set for their lives and now we are blessed to have two new people (new to us) doing a wonderful job too! Victor and Louis are fine young men who are a joy to have working in our home. They work very hard and, of course, are men of integrity. At any time, if we'd like a job done differently, they are always willing to listen and work with us. I can honestly say I believe they really care about the kind of job they do and whether the customer is happy. In addition, David and Naomi (owners) are wonderful to work with. They really try to accommodate changes in schedules, always with kindness.
