At first things were good, but things went poorly very quick. First off, they started the concrete work and said they weren't moving the electrical for the irrigation, even though it was in the contract. I ended up splitting the cost with them to get the project moving. After the concrete was poured, there was damage to the side of my house. It took months and many phone calls before the concrete guy came out to fix it. Also, when the work started, they “accidently” charged my credit card for the full amount, instead of the installments that we agreed upon in the contract. Once the screen room was up, we had the biggest issues. The city wrote me to tell me I had an unpermitted structure added to my property. They did the work without pulling the permit. After this they took months to get the actual permits needed. In the mean time the city called me every week to threaten to fine me and put a lean on my house. Finally, they got an approved permit but they had to change the design of the screen room to make it meet local code. They fixed the screen room for free, but they broke some of my new lighting in the process. They didn’t even clean up after they left. I had broken glass all over the screen room. When it was said and done the concrete pads at the doors are in the wrong spot because of the re-design. They will not even return my calls to have it fixed. Also, the re-design made the screen room smaller and used less materials but they will not give me a refund for the difference. The whole experience took over 6 months and was nothing but a pain. They made every step very difficult. I even got kicked all the way to the owner of the company to deal with these issues and he did nothing but blow me off.

At first the communication was great. Then after initial payment many issues arose. The last straw however was a couple months later when the extension we added for the screen was flooding. Turns out they covered a working sprinkler head with dirt and put pavers over it. Now our pavers look awful in that area and I had to pay someone to fix the irrigation. All they had to do was cap the sprinkler head. The work took about 3 times as long as first estimated. Partial was due to weather however the other part was lack of work and being on top of permits. I was the one who found out they needed the association letter from the city that I had supplied 2 times. It was holding up the permit but they never checked the permit status. Took one day of me writing the city to figure it out. That is just a couple of the list of issues I had with them.

Installation went well. Door are working nicely. Only problem is that 2 of the Tapcon screws have come loose on one end of the aluminum threshold. Need to be resecured.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. The clean up if he job was extremely poor. There was portions of the enclosure in my pool, outside where my children play with screws exposed, and to make matters worse they ripped a panel of my screen. I have contacted the company and have sent numerous emails to the owner Mike. He has not responded to any of my emails or calls. Do not hire this company! Once they receive your money they are done with you, zero customer service.

Florida Pool Enclosures (FPE) were recommended by Cregg Witty from Allsite Concrete & C2 General Contracting to advise and rebuild a botched job of a patio cover performed by Wayne Smith a "contractor" working under the company name "Alpha Consultants". First I must say that anyone who is dealing with Mr Smith should immediately cease and desist and find a reputable and responsible person to do whatever work he may be offering. On to FPE. This company in working with AllSite & C2 came over and looked at the work that had been performed and immediately set out to correct the problem. They decided that the best course of action was to remove all of the previous "work" and begin again. They agreed to do the job at a reduced rate, using superior materials as well as dedicated workmen that knew their work. I dealt specifically with Cregg Witty, Matthew Bougher, and D.C. Johnson. I might add that before FPE became involved in this project, I had been at Mr Wayne Smith for almost two years to not only get this job started, but to follow up on the problems caused by his total lack of skills for this job, after his completed mess failed inspections. Back to FPE and C2 General Contracting, these gentlemen have been attentive and redid the work to completion, passed inspection and continue to provide assistance. There were one or two minor hiccups on the job, but as previously stated, all of the gentlemen from FPE, C2, & Allsite were accommodating when contacted and quick to respond and take care of whatever issue needed handling. I would recommend their services and would not hesitate to call them for any future projects I may have.

I am very disappointed with the screen enclosure that was installed. My first experience with this company was meeting with Mike to talk about what I wanted. My biggest request and concern with installing a screen enclosure was that I wanted it to be as high as possible so that is did not feel like a low ceiling. I even went to far as to walk him across the street to my neighbors house with the same model to show him the height of hers to make sure that he could make it the same dome shape and same height. The height on my quote stated that the screen would be 13.5 feet high. In the end the screen that was installed in less than 12 feet high. It feels very low, and it barely has a dome shape- it is practically a flat top. My pool extension pole is constantly hitting the top of the screen whenever I try to clean the pool. I tried contacting the company but got no response. It is extremely disappointing after spending $10,000 on something that makes such a big impact on my backyard and I have to look at everyday and every time I look at it, it frustrates me that it is not what was agreed on. I have never had another experience where I was left so dissatisfied after handing over such a large sum of money.

he rest of it repaired? The patio enclosure roof leaked immediately. It was blamed on everything except their workmanship. They finally fixed it by removing it and reinstalling it correctly. The doors don't close properly and the screens are ripping. Screen is ripping because of poor installation. Numerous calls have been ignored. I'm very frustrated. it took legal threats to get them to fix the patio leaks. Is it going to take legal action to get the rest of it fixed?

Do not hesitate to hire this company! From my experience, they are the very best! We first worked with Mike, who was the salesman and who worked with us to design the patio with all the elements we wanted (planter, cut-out for a fountain and fire-pit). We were impressed with Mike's ideas and knowledge of design. But, it was left to Alex (Mike's uncle) to interprete the design and make it come to life. Alex was very patient with us, taking time to explain the process and offer suggestions on materials. He and his crew worked so hard to make it all a reality and we could not be happier! The resulting patio exceeds our expectations and dreams! It's beautiful and we already receive many compliments. Alex's crew were all great guys and very hard-working, but Carlos in particular impressed us with his attention to detail and craftsmanship. Next we worked with Sam, Israel, John and Louis who were the guys who installed the screen enclosure. Wonderful guys who were kind enough to take the time to help me and my husband as we struggled to move gravel and topsoil into the planter before all the screening went up. This company has been so great to work with, offering to leave off a panel of screening so that the large fountain could be delivered.
Overall, this has just been a wonderful company to work with and we do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Alex was one of 7 contactors that bid the job. He wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. But he was the most real and made us feel comfortable with the project. Explained our options, and 5 years later the screen enclosure was one of the best things we could do to our home. The enjoyment we have had on our patio has been fantastic. Sad that we are selling the home. But can't wait to call Alex to build an enclosure at our next home.

Mike was great to work with. Always very punctual and professional. I was very pleased with this company when Mike came out to see us because they were the only one's who did not charge for demolition. He was honest with us about the money they make off the aluminum from our old enclosure covering the demo cost. Enclosure looks great and they used aluminum screws since we have a salt system pool so they won't rust. They installed a doggie door in our enclosure that is too small for our dogs and they came back to replace it with a bigger door with no hassle or stress. Very pleased with their work.

The installation went well with few problems. The company was responsive to any phone calls quickly. The construction and design appear to be good so far.
This company provided us with many options for our screened enclosure--far more than other companies. They also work well with a paver company for a seamless job, if you require pavers or other brick items like a waterfall or a fire pit.

We found the salesman, Mike and his owner dad to be very reliable people. We were under a time crunch and they met our needs. We even needed to get a survey before the work could begin and all was accomplished within the required time. All employees were courteous and went about their work with a minimum of disturbance.
We are very pleased with our screen pool enclosure and insulated roof providing a and quot;porchand quot; area within the enclosure. Changed the entire look of our backyard.

Penny estimated the job and was very prompt, accommodating and professional. She had solutions for our concerns which were cats clawing the screen, good visibility, and pet access. She suggested heavier screen in the bottom 3 feet to alleviate clawing damage and lighter screen above for visibility. We preferred a particular cat door, and they had no problem installing it rather than the brand they carry. Penny was reachable by cell phone through the entire process, and she was very responsive. They did exactly what they promised exactly when they promised. All was done perfectly and professionally. I highly recommend them.

Even with the interruption of THREE hurricanes last fall, Florida Pool Enclosures was able to get our concrete poured between hurricanes. They completed the room after the last hurricane. We had a few problems that did take some time to fix. Overall, we are pleased with the room, but they could have fixed the problems more quickly.
