At first things were good, but things went poorly very quick. First off, they started the concrete work and said they weren't moving the electrical for the irrigation, even though it was in the contract. I ended up splitting the cost with them to get the project moving. After the concrete was poured, there was damage to the side of my house. It took months and many phone calls before the concrete guy came out to fix it. Also, when the work started, they “accidently” charged my credit card for the full amount, instead of the installments that we agreed upon in the contract. Once the screen room was up, we had the biggest issues. The city wrote me to tell me I had an unpermitted structure added to my property. They did the work without pulling the permit. After this they took months to get the actual permits needed. In the mean time the city called me every week to threaten to fine me and put a lean on my house. Finally, they got an approved permit but they had to change the design of the screen room to make it meet local code. They fixed the screen room for free, but they broke some of my new lighting in the process. They didn’t even clean up after they left. I had broken glass all over the screen room. When it was said and done the concrete pads at the doors are in the wrong spot because of the re-design. They will not even return my calls to have it fixed. Also, the re-design made the screen room smaller and used less materials but they will not give me a refund for the difference. The whole experience took over 6 months and was nothing but a pain. They made every step very difficult. I even got kicked all the way to the owner of the company to deal with these issues and he did nothing but blow me off.

At first the communication was great. Then after initial payment many issues arose. The last straw however was a couple months later when the extension we added for the screen was flooding. Turns out they covered a working sprinkler head with dirt and put pavers over it. Now our pavers look awful in that area and I had to pay someone to fix the irrigation. All they had to do was cap the sprinkler head. The work took about 3 times as long as first estimated. Partial was due to weather however the other part was lack of work and being on top of permits. I was the one who found out they needed the association letter from the city that I had supplied 2 times. It was holding up the permit but they never checked the permit status. Took one day of me writing the city to figure it out. That is just a couple of the list of issues I had with them.

Installation went well. Door are working nicely. Only problem is that 2 of the Tapcon screws have come loose on one end of the aluminum threshold. Need to be resecured.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. The clean up if he job was extremely poor. There was portions of the enclosure in my pool, outside where my children play with screws exposed, and to make matters worse they ripped a panel of my screen. I have contacted the company and have sent numerous emails to the owner Mike. He has not responded to any of my emails or calls. Do not hire this company! Once they receive your money they are done with you, zero customer service.

Florida Pool Enclosures (FPE) were recommended by Cregg Witty from Allsite Concrete & C2 General Contracting to advise and rebuild a botched job of a patio cover performed by Wayne Smith a "contractor" working under the company name "Alpha Consultants". First I must say that anyone who is dealing with Mr Smith should immediately cease and desist and find a reputable and responsible person to do whatever work he may be offering. On to FPE. This company in working with AllSite & C2 came over and looked at the work that had been performed and immediately set out to correct the problem. They decided that the best course of action was to remove all of the previous "work" and begin again. They agreed to do the job at a reduced rate, using superior materials as well as dedicated workmen that knew their work. I dealt specifically with Cregg Witty, Matthew Bougher, and D.C. Johnson. I might add that before FPE became involved in this project, I had been at Mr Wayne Smith for almost two years to not only get this job started, but to follow up on the problems caused by his total lack of skills for this job, after his completed mess failed inspections. Back to FPE and C2 General Contracting, these gentlemen have been attentive and redid the work to completion, passed inspection and continue to provide assistance. There were one or two minor hiccups on the job, but as previously stated, all of the gentlemen from FPE, C2, & Allsite were accommodating when contacted and quick to respond and take care of whatever issue needed handling. I would recommend their services and would not hesitate to call them for any future projects I may have.

I am very disappointed with the screen enclosure that was installed.  My first experience with this company was meeting with Mike to talk about what I wanted.  My biggest request and concern with installing a screen enclosure was that I wanted it to be as high as possible so that is did not feel like a low ceiling.  I even went to far as to walk him across the street to my neighbors house with the same model to show him the  height of hers to make sure that he could make it the same dome shape and same height.  The height on my quote stated that the screen would be 13.5 feet high.  In the end the screen that was installed in less than 12 feet high.  It feels very low, and it barely has a dome shape- it is practically a flat top.  My pool extension pole is constantly hitting the top of the screen whenever I try to clean the pool.  I tried contacting the company but got no response.  It is extremely disappointing after spending $10,000 on something that makes such a big impact on my backyard and I have to look at everyday and every time I look at it, it frustrates me that it is not what was agreed on.  I have never had another experience where I was left so dissatisfied after handing over such a large sum of money.
