EXPRESS PLUMBING OF CENTRAL FL

They were very good. They were nice and very professional. I would call them again.

We had a leak that seemed to be coming up from the tile. I called Express and they were extremely helpful by providing me with tips and suggestions to determine where the water was coming from. They also gave me a recommendation for a water detection service if I found that I needed one. Based on their advice, I was able to locate the leak in a wall and called them for service. They were pretty busy and not able to respond immediatly, but since I had found the leak and was able to contain the water, I was ok with waiting a couple of days. When they arrived, the knew immediatly what to do, discussed the repairs and completed the work quickly. I used their services in 2010 when we discovered a leak in our sprinkler service and they were just as good then.

Plumber showed up and I showed him exactly where leaking hose bibb was. Said he had to punch out some concrete around the hose bibb, which was an added charge, which i approved and paid (lot of and quot;added chargesand quot; these days). While he was replacing the hose bibb, we noticed that the main valve was also leaking. Said he could not perform the work that day, as he was running late, so we had to schedule another day for that repair. Since we rescheduled the added work, he also said he'd patch the hole when he came back. Came back and replaced the main valve, and patched the hole. In the course of doing so, he kept about 10 feet of copper pipe that had connected a water softener that had been removed (did not even ask if i wanted to keep it).
Relative to the Angies List Big Deal...i should have saved my money. There was no benefit to me; either the plumber or Angies List would have gotten the money. Since the plumber did not, i'm not sure there were any savings at all. I did not shop around for a plumber as I would normally have done, and since I was already committed (already paid for the Big Deal) there was no point turning them away.

Great job. A little bit of misunderstanding at first about the fact that there were two different bathrooms to do work in, but it was quickly and professionally resolved. We even got a call from the manager/owner. We needed to add one additional bit of work, and that was separate, but the person was ready and willing to do it right then.

I wrote the guy a check and then he said that he should have told me there's a 10% discount for cash. Had I known that I would have ran to the bank and got the cash. Paying 10% more, which is almost $30, kind of disappointed me especially when he should have told me before hand. That's my only problem with them and it really messed up my experience. I wish he didn't tell me that. I know that the going rate for plumbing is kind of high. The guy was fast, efficient, clean and helpful. The quality was good. I would use them again in the future.

I would recommend them. They are very good. They do a nice job. I've used them in the past. I live in a manufactured home in a retirement community and they do quite a bit of work here. They are probably the primary plumbing company that comes out. They don't endorse and they are known by the word of mouth. They are reliable. Their people know what they are doing. They give a good thorough estimated cost and stick with it. I would use them again in the future if need be.

I am very glad that they did such a nice job. They hid all the plumbing so you can't see it and they worked fast. I was not with out water for more than three days. They cleaned up their messes and were so polite about everything. My condo looks so nice now and you would never now that their was a plumbing problem.

THE PLUMBER WASN'T FAMILIAR WITH THE MATERIAL OF MY HOUSE. HE ACTUALLY STARTED A FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CAME, AND THERE WAS ACTUALLY SMOLDERING INSIDE THE WALLS. THEY HIT THE WATER MAIN, AND I HAD WATER EVERYWHERE. THE PLUMBER CAME BACK, AND HE HAD TO FIX EVERYTHING. THE MATERIAL WAS ALL MESSED UP BECAUSE IT IS TWENTY YEARS OLD. IT IS WOOD SIDING SO THEY HAD TO REPRODUCE OLD LOOKING WOOD TO GET THE PAINT TO MATCH. NOW I'M WAITING FOR THEM TO COME AND PRESSURE WASH THE INSIDE OF MY GARAGE.
