The only problem was getting an appointment - there were none for a week.  We had to go before the store opened and try to be the first "walk-in" appointment of the day.  We ended up getting in at 11 and were out of the store by noon.  They repaired our monitor which had a lightening surge for no cost - did it under warranty even tho it was not a manufacture's defect.  Well done.  Be prepared to wait.  The store is always very busy.

I needed help with ram upgrade and virus removal.  I wanted to make an appointment to schedule ram upgrade and virus removal.
I was told they won't upgrade my ram - my machine is 2010 and too old. As far as the virus removal, I was told that they don't support third party software.   The Genius on the phone couldn't get it through his head that I have a virus not a program that they don't support.
Normally I like mac,  but it's probably more cost effective just to go with a PC and toss it after 2 years.  I can't get any support with the mac any way after my extended apple care expired - which you cannot renew.

The staff at the Apple Store were very helpful. They give good service. They made the buying experience simple. They provided me with web sites to give me more information and tutorials. I was very impressed. I recommend Apple to everyone. I am very happy with my IPad and laptop. Their products are seamless and work well together.

My iMac wouldn't turn on this morning. I called this store, which is where I bought the computer 11 mths ago. My call was answered in less than 10 min. I asked if they could email my receipt to me so that I would have proof of the sales date for warranty purposes. Was told I would need to come to the store (30 min away) and ask a manager for a copy of the receipt. Did not like that. Decided the store has the receipt so they would honor the warranty and called back to ask about bringing in the computer. My call was answered immediately. A very helpful lady told me I'd need to make an appt online (Thank goodness I had access to another computer! Such a strange thing to ask of people calling with computer problems.) and told me how to do it. She also advised me that if I arrived late, my appointment would be cancelled. I did not like that, either. Especially of a company that bills itself as the user-centered company. Especially didn't like it as I got lost on the way and a drive I expected to take 20 min ended up taking 40 min! Arrived at the store exactly at the time of my appointment. There was a mob scene, there, but I was given attention immediately (liked this). Someone called my name about 2 minutes after I arrived and immediately booted up my computer. He explained why it wouldn't boot up for me and what to do if it happens again (an "SMC reset"). Liked all that. He checked out a few more things on the computer...I have no idea what. Then I packed it back up and headed out. The tech called 5 min later to say he still had the power cord. Oops. That's the kind of day it's been. Went back and he brought it out immediately and off I went. The computer is working fine now.
