One technician they sent was professional and courteous but the other was possibly drunk and certainly did not seem to care about my issues.  They did not seem to make any effort to repair my heat pumps but instead insisted that they needed to be replaced.  One of the new heat pumps lasted just under three years and the other lasted about four years.  My research suggested that they should have lasted 10-15 years each.  Will NOT be using them to replace the now broken units!

They were fine. We had them out one time about a couple of months ago and they came out and did a good job. They fixed what needed to fixed but didn't charge a lot of money and that was good because I think it was an HVAC issue. Frequently, when you have an old HVAC system, one of the first things they can tell you is you need to buy a new one and they did not do that, so that was good. We are pleased with them. The price was very reasonable. You don't know what it could be when you get in to those kind of situations.

Screwed heater up so bad it had to be replaced.  when they were done heater would start, flames would shoot out the front (gas heater) and make a loud explosion.  Told us the reason was the chimney was bad (after 20 years and two different heaters??).  Had chimney relined but still did it (1200 dollars later).  Came back but when he left there were "parts" left over and still shot flames out.  Had another company check it out and found reassembled incorrectly and there never was a chimney problem.   Had new company intall new heater and all was well.  Tried refund from Rays but wuld not refund all the money, just part.  NEVER WILL USE AGAIN! Oh yeah, we were also out the price of the chimney relining!!

They come right away and they seem to take care of everything I need. I haven't had any issues with them. Their price is a little high,

Am a  guy who is an intermediate fix-it guy with a few exceptions.. Heating and A/C are not in my book of tricks, so depend on the pros for this type of service..  Unfortunately, in the past with A/C and heating, other repairmen sell you stuff you really didn't need, such as capacitors on the heating and A/C units.   Their cost for these parts is absolutely ridiculous.  Found out twice in the past that I was charged 4 to 5 times retail for 2 capacitors...  So, get a bit leery about repairs on my heating and A/C.  Have had estimates on new A/C units since mine is 12 years old, and wasn't top of the line to start with.  I know that sometime shortly I will probably need a new A/C unit, and will probably ask Rays for an estimate.
These guys were neat, did a really good job and most of all, I trusted them.  They gave me a 10 percent Senior discount, and 37 bucks is fine with me.  They have a 30 days warranty on their work, but did not have to call them back for anything.
Would definitely recommend Ray's plumbing to anyone in this area..
