Family Business since 1950. Third generation. We furnish and install all types of window treatments. We are one of the Delaware Valley's largest and oldest window treatment company. We are known as the Plantation Shutter Experts. What sets us apart is our two installers. Our claim is we send the installer not a salesman to your home. You may have heard us advertised on The Michael Smerconish show on the Big Talker 1210.

They did a fine job measuring and quoting on the first trip. Ordered the blinds and came back a few weeks later as arranged for a fine installation of 6 windows with blinds and a large window with shutters. My only complaint is that they have tirelessly bagged me for this review. If I didn’t respond the first 12 times maybe I didn’t want to. This was 3 years ago when we had the work done. Seriously.

Shade disintegrated in a week. Owner was unresponsive for a while (it was a few years ago ) then accusatory that I had done the damage myself . Wouldn't make an appointment to come and look at the shade. I was working long hours and couldn't stay home to wait for him to choose a day and time last minute to come out and check the shade. Finally he came out, recognized it was faulty material and incompetent placement. But was still arrogant and rude.

I purchased shutters for my bedroom from Yocum and I love them. They did a great job and I wish I could afford to put them on every window in my home. Maybe after I win the lottery! I would highly recommend them.

The scheduler was terrible to deal with. The installation was good. I purchased another certificate and they would not honor it. Owner said I was trying to get one over on him - really? He was very rude and very, very, unprofessional.

The sales clerk was very knowledgeable and influenced my decision for my selection. Measurements were taken following my selection and the installation occurred in a timely manner. I highly recommend Yokum Shutters and would solicit their services again. Overall the customer service is outstanding!

They were great. We had other work done in our master bedroom suite and Yocum waited until that work was done so the shutters would be installed correctly. Very clean, on time, pleasant attitude. Would call them again without any doubt. Went into the store and they were just as great as our installer. The installer did the entire job from measurements to installation. He was willing to go the extra mile for us.
