The technician was on time, he properly identified himself and explained what work he would perform. His appearance was neat and he arrived with the necessary tools and testing equipment to perform the maintenance. He performed the work as scheduled and answered my questions as he completed the work. I have been using William G Day for approximately 15 years for all my air conditioning and heating maintenance along with some plumbing work. They installed my current furnace approx 10 years ago and will be installing a new central air compressor when the current unit decides to stop running. They are always on time and very flexible with their scheduling and I have referred them to other friends and relatives Jennifer is their office manager and is always a pleasure to work with!!

Rich arrived early (he called to see if I would be available and performed part of service. He found dead mouse & nest in one unit & replaced clawed through wire. Also noted condensated line on other unit did not have proper pitch but was draining ok.

They replaced the fitting and no more water on floor.

Chris shows up on time (or whoever else they send) does the job right with efficiency and courtesy. I've been using this company for 5 yrs. with great satisfaction.

Very fair dealing. Serviceman Lou knew just what he was doing and did not misrepresent the problem to elevate the price. I figure I saved $800 in probable unnecessary work when the problem was recognized for what it truly was and corrected-quickly. Thanks to Lou the serviceman, we had our heat restored in mid-January when we really needed it. So far, the furnace runs perfectly. Thank you for a job well done and a fair price.

Purchased deal on Angie's List. Received prompt communication from William G. Day re: scheduling the service, and they knew I had purchased the same service last year. Scheduling was easy. Technician arrived on time and performed service. Would purchase the deal again, and would use William G. Day for HVAC needs in the future.

Heating would not come on due to igniter problem. Provider responded quickly and resolved the issue on time. Very reliable. We will be asking them to perform the Planned Maintenance for our Gas Heat/1-AC unit.

Purchased a furnace tune-up deal through Ange's List. I was contacted promptly by William G. Day and the service was scheduled a few days later. The technician was prompt, pleasant, explained what he was doing, and answered some questions I had about the HVAC system in our house. Very positive experience overall.

Overall, it was fine. They were hired as the subcontractor under our GC for this work due to a large extent to the conversations we had had with Bill Day regarding options, including geothermal, high efficiency, and more traditional systems. Bill's experience and knowledge was evident, and it was immediately apparent that we could work with him, and by extension, his company on this project. With this type of work, the choice between combinations of fast and sloppy or slow and high quality is an easy one. Bill's crews were slower than anticipated, but to be fair, this is largely based on the opinion of our GC, with whom I would never work again. We also asked them to do things not typical designed into a house, so custom work was required which slowed down the process. Referencing our GC - by the end of the project roles had been reversed, and my wife and I ended up doing a significant amount of that work in addition to much of the physical labor. Despite the change in the contractual roles and responsibilities, WGD continued their professional manner in dealing with us and finishing up a complicated project for the agreed upon price. I would use this organization again.

They are profession and on time. They are very clean. I really felt like they respected our house. Our house is older and they were able to deal with all its uniqueness.

It was a job that someone else had started and didn't finish. They came out quickly and did the work. We were happy to find them.

We needed to replace our 30-year old systems, so we got three estimates. This company impressed us the most. They were friendly but very professional. They arrived promptly, for the estimate and for all the subsequent work. They placed tarps on our floors to walk on, and cleaned up after themselves each day. They installed a Carrier Infinity system for us. The inspector said it was a very good installation. I've had to phone them a couple of times for minor things since the installation, and they responded immediately and fixed the problems (which were minor).
