We hired the contractor to clear the leaves from our lawn The work was done promptly to our complete satisfaction. Mr. Jim Rodgers kept us informed every step of the way. Randy, the crew foreman, was responsive to our concerns and made sure we were satisfied before leaving our house. The price was fair and lower than the competing bid.

Whatever you do, do not call this company. They took my money and abandoned the job after completing 5% of the work. That is called Fraud. Will not answer calls, the BBB or a Certified letter. To make matters worse, they smashed my utility car, damaged my shed, and put the drain discharge from my gutter on my neighbors property. John L. (the **foreman**) has no clue what he is doing. I feel bad for the guys who work for him as he is the whole problem. I challenge the owner of this company to step up to the plate. I have pictures, timeline and witnesses to back up our side. Really wish I could post them here. Update as of 1/12/2020. Apparently the Owner (Erik) was kept in the dark for the most part regarding this situation. Once being updated in detail as to what went on, Erik stepped up to the plate and reconciled with us. Basically, Erik is a good guy. He made the huge mistake of hiring a very dishonest and deceptive foreman (who is mentioned by name in the initial review). This particular foreman (who by the way, has now started his own landscaping company) was 100% responsible for all of the problems that we had. With a simple online search using his name, you can find the ex-foreman s new company. Stay away! From my experience with Erik, I would not hesitate to use his company in the future now that the problem is gone. We only thought it was fair to add this portion of the review since Erik rectified the situation.

I have worked closely with John Landoll. He has been very professional and met all the demands of the various projects. I am very pleased with his work and would highly recommend this company and John to anyone wanting a job well done. Thank you so much. He has made my job easy as I work for the homeowner of the property.

It was good and fast

The work the guys did was good but the owner was not professional. I had to ask for a bill, and constantly sent a text to get my lawn moved. My grass would be so high that when they finally came to mow they left clumps of grass that my husband and I had to rake up. I let him go and hired another.

Contractor did not finish the job, had already been paid and kept making excuses why he couldn't finish. Offered to send a partial refund and never did.

Expeditious service and eager to please the most discerning of client even though I have cavier taste with a schlitz budget. I asked a lot of him. Answers all questions thoroughly and without a sense of trying to get a sale. I'm a guy. I like features. There are features I don't need that would increase his sale but instead straight up told me my decision was mine but if it were he it wouldn't be added. Isn't it nice when a company calls as soon as they get a request and never use high pressure techniques or add things that don't need added? I thought so hence my high recommendation.

Excellent communication regarding what was needed for my sod job to be successful. Great value for amount of work done. Workers were very polite and thorough (except they left the sod pallets on the job site).

I was promised a power wash of the white railings front and back of the house. It is listed on the contract, mentioned that it was owed on the cash receipt. Have never been able to reach them to fulfill the balance of the work agreed upon. Plus, the method of removing my bushes was to have been thus: cut off bush at ground level, dig deeper around stump, finally cut away more stump below ground level. Below level work was not done. I was unavoidably away from the house when the bulk of the work was done, so wasn't there to watch when half-jobs were done. The other bushes that were trimmed must have been done with dull cutters, as edges are frayed looking, with some branches still hanging down with rough half-cuts. Seemed like once Erik got the cash in hand, we were of no consequence to him. Have tried numerous times to reach him by leaving phone messages, emails, nothing is responded to. I would never have him do anymore work for me. Complete lack of professionalism.

The professional was on time, he got the job done exactly as I wanted it.

They did the work requested

Erik at All About Lawns saved me when I was in a bind. I had previously contacted several lawn care companies and no one would cut my back yard because they stated my gate didn't allow their larger mowers. Erik said it wasn't a problem and has been taking care of my lawn ever since. He does excellent work! I am so grateful he saved us!

Very happy with their service, from beginning to end. Erik promptly contacted me and scheduled the work for the next day. He was courteous and professional, and worked with my budget to provide the services requested (planted one tree and trimmed another one). The next day, he called to tell me his guy was on the way, and he showed up on time. The cost was very reasonable and the quality of work was excellent, including cleanup; his guy was knowledgeable, polite, and respectful of my property and worked hard to get the job done in the time frame we discussed. I highly recommend this company, and will likely use them again in the spring.
