An arborist, Chip, came out to my house and evaluated the large trees on my property. The work was done about 2 weeks later. The office called ahead to make sure that I would be home. After the trees were trimmed the workers ground up all the branches and debris and removed it from my property.

The Strobert team arrived early on the day of the appointment. They did a great job removing a huge tree that covered our entire back yard. They put down mats in order to minimize damage to the lawn. All of the team wore hard hats and safety glasses and performed all work with safety in mind. The crew was very nice and routinely checked with us to make sure we were happy with the work. They stayed late into the day to make sure the job was completed. We would definitely recommend Strobert and will use them again.

We had a very old tree in our yard with two enormous limbs that lay horizontally on the tree. We had just the month before bought a new shed, and the only placement available was in front of this tree. It had been raining for days, and the night before this happened we heard a very large crack outside, and in the morning found that the larger of the two horizontal limbs (this one probably weighing 4,000 pounds) had cracked. It was obviously going to come down, but it was much too large for us to remove. This was a dangerous situation. We called 9 different local tree services in the Dover area. Nine. Not one of them bothered to return our phone calls or respond to messages left on their answering machine. Strobert was our 10th phone call. We were initially concerned about calling because they are located in the Wilmington area, an hour away. They answered their phone immediately, and after explaining what was happening, "Chip", their arborist, said he would get into his car and drive right down to Dover. Less than an hour later he was in our back yard, assessing the situation. He gave us an estimate to have those two huge limbs taken down, and at that time we also asked if their service could cut down a dangerous 75 foot tall dead tree that we felt was beyond our capabilities to remove ourselves. He said he would have a crew out tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. That night it continued to rain, and the first limb totally broke off, taking the second limb with it, now landing on top of our brand new shed, and pulverizing our fence. At 9:00 a.m. the next morning, a crew of 3 from Strobert arrived. Right on time. They spent the next 5 1/2 hours cutting down those huge limbs, and doing the job so carefully that save for a few lost shingles where the tree hit the shed hard, there was no other damage. They further cut down the big tree at the back and were nice enough to grind down 10 or more huge stumps that we did not have the equipment to do. Strobert's workers were professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. We were so pleased. So few companies actually do what they are say they are going to these days. Strobert's exceeded our expectations, from initially making the drive down from Wilmington, to showing up exactly on time, to, in our opinion, going above and beyond what we expected, to cleaning everything up after they were done. We have already recommended their service to a neighbor, and we will certainly use them again.

Our experience with this company could not have been better! Customer service on the phone was very friendly and efficient. I called for an estimate and Chip arrived about an hour later. He was knowledgeable, professional, and came across as concerned about doing a good job. I accepted the bid on Friday and the work was done on Monday. The workers were fantastic, fast, and very respectful of our property. We will not hesitate to use Strobert again.

Two years previous, the arborist came out to advise us about 2 trees we thought were not doing well. He suggested some things we could do to strengthen them but cautioned that he didn't think they would survive. The trees were not healthy so we called them recently and the arborist again came out and agreed it was ime to remoe them. They worked with us on the price and within 2weeks the work was completed. The crew was very professional and the clean up was expectional.

Fantastic! The arborist and technician were friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions. Strobert's is flexible in defining the scope of work; letting us do things such has haul away the arborvitae to woods so that we didn't have to pay for disposal of the plants. We have used Stroberts in the past and will use them again in the future!

They were very quick, proficient, and professional and they were impressive to watch. They were able to come out the next day!

Strobert's was very efficient in showing up when they indicated to provide an estimate. Their price was very good & I scheduled the work. They showed up when they said they would & provided the services as they indicated. They were very neat & professional.

I ended up firing them halfway through the job. They put a large tree branch through my dining room window. Most of their workers didn't seem to speak English which made communicating hard. Their foreman was supposed to be on the job but wasn't. When I asked that their insurance cover the replacement window, the owner got nasty and I had to threaten a lawsuit. May be they have improved since 2005, but I would never recommend them.

About 8 years ago they did a much larger job for me, which included removing a 9 story tree from my backyard and did not damage my home at all. They are incredibly good at their job. They are incredibly fair with their pricing.

They were excellent and everything went great with them. They came out quickly to give me the quote and got the work done a couple of days later. I had no problems with their after cleanup. I have no complaints about them what so ever.

They have been very good and we have used them approximately 2 or 3 times now and we will continue to use them. Their prices are good, as well. We are really pleased with how cautious they were when they removed trees from our yard. They always get rid of the material after the jobs.

We used them for a one-time service. I chose them for their pricing. We ended up having the police and fire department here because someone got hurt. No one was able to speak English until one of them got hurt. They would not speak in English when I asked a few questions. There was no foreman on the job site.

I was very impressed with the individual who came to take the bid. Very courteous and thorough. They had a very timely turn around time, he called me back that night with the bid. When I scheduled it, I said I wanted the appointment in the morning. They were very puntual. They were very throrough in their clean up.

I found everything about the company from the service office to the men who came out perform the work to be superior! The workman even went above and beyond and stayed late to complete the work. I would recommend them and I would hire them again.

I had to reschedule a couple of times and the technician was late for the quote. They provided me a quote, which was the highest that I had gotten out of several others. To gain access to the trees in my backyard, they wanted to cut down a tree in my front yard. I got the job done without doing that.

Gave estimates with senior discount. Work done as contracted. Miss Utility showed electric under stump so grinding more shallow than usual. Left area clean. Very professional. Will use again.

They were timely, accurate, and professional. It was a good experience overall.
