I purchased over the phone. I purchased some excellent quality parts for a fair price. Genuine and Authorized Rockford Fosgate. This was good and I appreciate that. It was about $5,000 for two T2 16" subwoofers and T2500.1bd amplifier. However, I told the online sales rep that I will need to find an installer to install these parts as I don't have the expertise. She assured me 'multiple times' that as an authorized dealer I could find another authorized dealer to install them. I stressed this in the sales conversation. Now I have spent countless hours, and weeks of my life. I have contacted the manufacturer directly, and every authorized dealer within a 200 mile radius (400 miles diameter). No one will touch these parts or install them. I requested a refund and they return my call only once leaving a voicemail. Now Sound of Tri-State is no longer returning my calls. It feels like they are waiting me out. The one voicemail answer they left simply said I would have to pay the restocking fee if I returned. But they still have not sent the RA# (return authorization #). Sound of Tri-state was either uninformed or Dishonest in the sale and they are non-responsive in my return request. NO dealer in Texas will touch their parts. And they either sold it too me knowing I would not be able to use it or unaware that no dealer would actually install it. And they have NO interest in making this right. I bought the other, identical parts from another online retailer. Rhymes with "much-field". Same Parts! I paid only a little more money, however, they fully returned the parts with no hassle or Restocking fee when I told them no dealer would install it.
