We had lots of stuff we did not use. They worked very hard and did a great job at an excellent price to clean out and haul off.

Wonderful! Everyone is so pleasant to work with. Prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. I had to have quite a bit of hauling/junk removal done when I moved into my new home. The home was sold as is, and needed a lot taken out. When I moved out of my old home, they were also able to take out some heavier items that I did not wish to move. S&J also takes yard debris! No fuss, no muss!

Jamie was asked to come to the new home first and bid the job. He showed up on time, and was polite. His bid is basically $40 per hour per person. The job required two sets of hands, so we had two individuals for three hours, for a total of $240. We got our money's worth and the two worked h****** a variety of projects in a newly purchased home. They arrived at the time they promised to arrive. I had given him a typed list of some big stuff, and a bunch of small stuff, and he asked me to walk me around so he could see the items. He never referred to the typed list again, and when he was done and gone, we realized he missed two items on the list. I asked him about additional work, and he gave a fixed bid for different jobs....like $300 to get xyz done, $175 to get xxx done.  I felt those bids were high.....and equated to more than $40 per hour, so I didn't use him for additional work. I wondered if his philosophy was to get into a house, work very hard for the $40 an hour, earn your respect, and then "bid up" future jobs.  I was also surprised that he asked that the check for payment be made out to him personally, and not to his company. I ended up getting additional work done by other qualified providers at a lower price
