DO's - 1. Ask why the blueprints are changed almost daily without your knowledge.
2. Have someone you trust observe whether or not the materials used are actually 'in code'.
3. Have someone you trust observe that the rebar is actually used everywhere.
4. Have someone you trust observe that the glue is used between the floorboards and joists.
5. Have someone you trust re-measure after Radius does so that one of the rooms is not off by 10 inches.
6. Specifically ask for outlets in a new basement.
7. Keep copies of all of your cancelled checks so you can provide a list of payments when they 'forget'.
8. Keep copies of everything and take pictures everyday. This will help you win your court case.
We learned that if the price sounds to good to be true - it is.
