Asked for estimate for replacing cord that had a cut. Quoted $60 -$80 and one week to replace. After 1 week called for status - was told 'boss would return my call'. Over the next 2 weeks, called for status and received same 'boss will call you back'. After three weeks 'boss' called and said they couldn't find anything wrong with vacuum. I told them the cord had a deep cut exposing bare copper and needed to be replaced. I expressed my extreme frustration that after 3 weeks nothing had been done. 'Boss' said they would get right on it. After 4 weeks received a message that it would cost $130 in parts and $60 in labor to repair. I called back and said do not repair I will pick up vacuum. Three days later I went to pick up vacuum, as I grabbed it by the handle it fell apart. Two days later I picked up reassembled vacuum. At least they didn't charge me.
