Find another plumber who is trustworthy and appreciates your business. Surly, expensive and dishonest. I hired Mays in November of 2017. I provided pictures of the issues, valve stems had to be replaced in my sink levers and hand spray. The man they sent was clearly irritated to have to do the work, which I chose to ignore. He confirmed the valve stem had to be replaced for all items. He advised that he did not have Kohler parts and they were very expensive, but he carries around a generic kit and would try to use those parts. He said these parts would save me they were inexpensive and if they fit, it would save me money. He said that he would have to order a part for the hand spray. He came back with the generic kit and replaced the valve stems. The repairs were made and I was satisfied. He pulled a fast one on me. He gave me a bill of over $300. When I questioned the bill, he said that it was high because Kohler parts were expensive. I reminded him that he used generic parts. He advised that I was mistaken and he used Kohler parts. He then explained that I was getting a "good deal" because he could have charged me for diagnosing the hand spray valve but since I was a new customer, he wasn't including that cost?? They never followed-up on the hand spray valve stem. I haven't heard from them since, and that is all for the good. Do business with them at your own peril.

Fine. Darren responded and repaired the tub drain within 4 hours of my initial call even though he was short staffed that day. Extremely professional and responsive. He is a magician when it comes to plumbing challenges.

Very good - they responded quickly for my request for quote. Worked with me to schedule project around appliance delivery. Price was fair for work that needed to be done. Everything worked out well.

Jamey was on time and between 8:30 am and 1pm, replaced all the tub fixtures inside a lathe and plaster wall, installed shut off valves to both the hot and cold water in the bathtub, strapped up the pipe in the basement, replaced the shut off valve to the water main, and cleaned up after himself!!! I was thrilled to discover that the internal line extra insurance I purchased from the water company paid for the replacement of the shut off valve to the water main. Mays was the ONLY plumbing company I contacted out of five to mention this. The other companies just quoted me a price including replacement of the shut off valve to the water main. Mays is my plumber now! I can look into both a bathroom and kitchen remodel now that I am confident that I have a great plumbing company to work with.

When I bring him out, he will fix what needs to be fixed and he will check everything else just to make sure there is no other issue.

The toilet is back to normal! The work was done quickly and efficiently and the price was right. Actually, the price was lower than other plumbers in the area. I was also given the standing May's senior discount which helped bring the price down. I recommend May's Plumbing Works to all my friends!
